Just ask Aud Smell how tough it is to get out of those bushes after you've been there for a while. Edit: Oh, he beat me to it already.

Multiple posters on a Buffalo-based message board are UB alumni? Shocking. :D

He likes catch phrases? I hadn't noticed. I'm too lazy to look back through it, but I remember direct references to both Rush and Pink Floyd. I'm sure there were others.

Is the air green too thanks to the pollen?

I get to meet the baby later today. I'll pay attention to her for about 2 minutes and then I'll focus on the 2 and 4 year olds. They're more entertaining.

Murray will be too busy hiding in the bushes outside of McDavid's hotel, so someone has to bet here for the lottery.

Yeah, my money's on Tarasenko. -
But what happens in that parallel universe where the machine constantly spits out the same null results for the rest of mankind? Do we have a shot at drafting him there?

What was the other thread where we were talking about this yesterday? I liked my take on the whole thing.

And seeing Solo at the end give me the feeling that it will have that soul back. I know he's so much older now and it's not fair to expect it from him, but so much of that soul from the originals comes directly from him.

Maybe embellish isn't the right word, but there is definitely a "hey look at me" factor that is grilled into people at this point when they get hurt. Just because you do actually get hurt doesn't mean you don't try to sell it as well. That reaction looked a bit too big to me.

Round up one old guy for each team. It's a shame Tampa isn't in the lottery because they already have Phil Esposito.

If that star destroyer crashing onto what I assume in Tantoine, whay is it completely undamaged? Seriously though, I wonder if they plan on hiding Luke as much as possible since they showed Solo and not him.

Screw that. I want each GM sitting there with the specific number of lottery tickets their team has earned. After the drawing, we have to sit and wait while they each skim over each ticket to see if they have won. I want endless camera shots of GMs/presidents crumbling up lottery tickets waiting for someone to find the winner. Of course, with my luck, the winner's ticket would be the very top on on their pile, ruining everything.

This is ridiculous

What you're arguing is that there is a 0.28% chance that no one wins the lottery (0.02*14). Stop and think for a second what that means. We can put together some long winded explanation with conditional probability, but what it all comes down to is that since the requirement is that the lottery has to end with one team winning, the chances as outlined by the league are correct.

The only way you'd be right is if Connor McDavid was granted UFA status if that one combination came up. That combination only results in a redraw, so as K9 said, it is the equivalent of their being only 1000 possible results.
-
Mine wasn't a complaint.
-
No one. I read something the other day that if that one combination comes up, they do it all over again.

I had no idea that he was referencing that exact Seinfeld episode. Thanks for clarifying that, LGR.

It has far more to do with me than it does with her. My old days won't be coming back. There's never going to be enough time for that. She's one of those technologically challenged types. She'll never be interested in the stuff.

You should see what marriage does to playing video games. I will still pick up the occasional new game that I've been waiting on for a while, but then it takes me about 6 months to actually play through it. The next new game I will want will require me to buy a PS4. I can't wait to hear the wife's opinion on that one.

Why on earth do they need players to be present for the lottery? That has to be about the dumbest development out of this whole thing.
