  1. :) = me all day Finally, finally, Pegula has separated himself from the past owners.
  2. This is a recent thing for Darcy. He's been one of the biggest proponents of "give them time to develop in the minors" for most of his tenure.
  3. I don't know. I've listened five more times with my eyes closed and saying Enroth in my head, but I still hear him say Enron every time. Definitely not Enroth; at best Enrott.
  4. Meh, Risto got his first NHL goal faster.
  5. I wanted them to give him a shot back in 2010, when he went to Vancouver. Would have been a better third-line center than Hecht (2nd/3rd-line winger) or Gaustad (fourth-line center.) He was having a strong season before he got hit in the eye, even receiving consideration for the Selke trophy (5 1st-place votes, according to Wikipedia.)
  6. Oops. 0.8s from OT, but ... *choke*.
  7. Ha, well timed. A friend of mine just posted a pic of his dog looking toward him from under the sheet with some comment about Dutch Ovening it.
  8. Even if they go 1-80-1 this year and 0-82-0 next year, there would still be a 56% chance that we wouldn't get either player, much less both. In fact, there would only be a 6.25% chance of getting both.
  9. I was thinking the same thing when I saw that last goal. He's lucky that they don't play the Rangers again until March.
  10. http://youtu.be/2hXMx_aBQo4 :w00t:
  11. As much as we're focused on our QB, it sucks to hear that Hoyer is out for the season. He started as the third quarterback, got the chance to start due to injuries and played so well that he took the starting job. Then, wham, it's gone.
  12. It wasn't consistent. I believe in 2005-06, they went basically every other game, but had specific teams that each always had the "C" against (e.g., Briere vs. Montreal.) In 2006-07, however, I am almost certain that it was road/away during at least the regular season. It's hard to prove, since each took over when the other was out injured.
  13. Worked with Drury and Briere. Plus, it's easier on the equipment guys.
  14. Per Rolston on WGR, they will name the Captain today. The team will be told first, then it will be made public.
  15. Bills did three straight drop back three or four stpes to take a couple of seconds off and then take a knee, since they couldn't really run out the clock. The defender decided to take out EJ hard on the the third one, which took care of the 5 seconds that they couldn't run off.
  16. In all fairness, it's 3/22, but two (Byrd and Gilmore) are out injured. Being without those two and then losing McKelvin put Rogers in a position that he simply is not cut out for. How many teams' #3 CB can cover the other team's #1 receiver all game long, especially without their #1 safety supporting?
  17. Except Reebok has their logo ... actually, now "REEBOK" ... above the nameplate, not on the tail like the old CCM/KOHO (etc.) jerseys. There is no Reebok logo down there to hide.
  18. Empire Records reference?
  19. Coho at 1:00 and 1:24 mark (based on socks and dark helmet.) http://youtu.be/sFIg1cDwlRs Also at 0:30. His defensive coverage is harder to spot ... since he's out of the frame.
  20. Been Teemu's nickname for a long time. He's Finnish and fast, so ...
  21. It's on in the background, but I'm mostly just tooling around the internet.
  22. Fixed for you.
