Grigs had a substantial effect on the game winning goal, and I think played 7 minutes in the third period last night. He should play in this game. I think the intensity of the game and the crowd should be good for him to getting acclimated and getting him to play hard on all shifts. His replacement in the line-up will not help much, as I agree we have too many 3rd and 4th line role players. Gerbe is worthless these days. I would much prefer Grigs to play a regular shift with Ott and Kaleta, and then have McCormick, Hecht and Brown on the 4th line.

We can thank Ott for this game, along with Vanek, although that's about it. Foligno was decent, and Ennis had three points on 6 shots.

Lindy on the pre-game said that Vanek likes playing with the right-handed C and gets more passes.

Outside of the hit against Sulzer that led to our 5-3, I don't recall any big hits by the bruins the entire game after that fight. They didn't pull any of their shenanigans, they didn't try to intimidate, Marchand didn't do his little scumbaggery, the fans and building were pretty quiet outside of the three goal barrage which would have made any building explode. The fight could easily have been the biggest play of the game, even counting Vanek's heroics.

We should consider ourselves very lucky that Lucic didn't say that "Miller charged ME!". Shanny would have suspended Miller a few games as soon as he came back from injury.
