I was telling my son the same exact thing once they waived it off. It should be like the NFL...review every score, don't waive it off. Let it play out and then review it. The NHL is the worst run professional league, bar none.

Thanks. The NHL description said the Sabres lost a challenge and that made no sense. But man, that one looks pretty bad. The one the other day was more interference than that.

The league should review every goalie interference that the refs call on ice, without a challenge needed. of course they weren’t going to change it. They barely looked at it. Benson did not go into the blue on his own, isn’t that part of the criteria? Isn’t that why Tage was called? Stupid league with stupid rules.

It's just another in a long line of stupid, useless NHL rules. If you're in the crease on your own, that's one thing...but if an opposing player bodies you into the crease then the goal should not be waived off, IMO. The offside challenge needs to go away, as well.

Typical bull$hit NHL call. Benson was pushed in barely, he got out before the shot, and his stick was being held on top of it, and the goalie had a clear view of the puck. All goalie interferences should be reviewed by the league, there should be no challenge and no penalty. STUPID RULE
