Flyers backup Samuel Ersson was the first goalie off the ice at the morning skate, indicating we are getting the backup tonight (per Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Phili).  
 

He’s 4-2-2 with an .859%.  Ripe for the picking!

Yea, and yea ya made my heart skip a few beats. I’ve been living on highlights, intermittent live feeds and this forums gdt responses live as I’ve worked 60+ hrs a week, 12 hr 7pm to 7am shifts for near a month now. Xmas for the grandkids getting pricey, grandpa’s had to make sacrifices 😅

My point is the rules are the rules. Until they eliminate the OTL point, those still matter. 

And maybe some of you are just young whippersnappers and don't remember when NHL games ended in ties. Each team got a point. So don't look at it as a loss. Look at it as a tie with a bonus point awarded to the OT winner.
