Good for him. 1 Quote

Good for him. I barely remember him doing Sabres games. He must have split games with RJ at first because I seem to recall Rick taking over for Ted Darling early on. Quote

Rick took over occassionally while Ted was still employed but when he was too sick to call the game. When Ted finally retired, Gurtler was his fulltime replacement. And if you dialed 1-800-333-PUCK to hear how the Sabres did the night before you'd get a canned recap of some of his calls. But if you clicked through to a human to ask which Satellite Feed the Sabres game would be on, he would often be the person answering. Talked to him quite a few times when that 800 # was a thing. 2 Quote

There you go. My memory is fuzzy. 1 Quote

PromoTheRobot Posted yesterday at 12:39 PM Report Posted yesterday at 12:39 PM Dhane Smith NLL OPoY. But Saskatchewan has two players with post season awards, including goalie of the year. https://share.google/IilkgESjvH8cOEqen It's going to be tough having both the Amerks and Bandits playing at the same time tonight. Until proven otherwise Vinc is the best NLL playoff goalie of all time. Quote

Don't care who they SAY is the best goalie. The ACTUAL best goalie put on a clinic after the 3 minute mark. No goals at all given up for the last 1-1/2 quarters. With some absolute highlight reel saves. My boy MacKay continued to show us why they've moved him from transition to (nearly) full-time O with 4 of the Bandits 1st 8 goals. Smith set the all-time playoff record for scoring as he became the 1st player ever to surpass 200 playoff points in a career. He finished the night with a hatty and 5 helpers. Buchanan also had a hatty. Byrne and Frazier rounded out the Bandit scoring. Can take their 3rd consecutive and 7th overall championship Sunday night at 8PM Eastern in Saskatoon. Game will be on the same networks this one was (ESPN+, NLL+, TSN, TSN+). LET'S GO BAN-DITS!!!!!!!! 2 Quote

Not true, Tavares, his head coach also has 200+ points but Smith passed him and has 4 fewer playoff games Quote
