I am not certain about Hershey this year but I just ran the numbers from AHL Tracker about the skaters that were on the ice last game. Average age of the Amerks was 24.4. The average age for Laval was 24.7. Laval had 11 skaters under the age of 24. We only had 9. The Amerks have no excuses. This is one of the best lineups they have put on the ice and they went into the series healthy.

Thry are playing the best team in the AHL.  Five points better than the next best team. The Amerks just might not be good enough.

It’s definitely on FloHockey.  Last game was on FloSports YouTube channel.  Hope that helps.

Yes, FLO hockey put game 1 out for free. I'm check to see if game 2 will also be free. Wasn't MSG going to broadcast these games too? You can at least listen to the radio call on WROC The Fan FM 95.7/AM 950. They stream.

The makeup of Laval is not veteran heavy, it's almost identical to Rochester's, with a handful of AHL vets complementing a deep group of NHL prospects.

It's kinda seems ideal for development to me: the kids get to play in important situations and learn from them, while surrounded by enough veteran voices to show them the way.

They were the 1st and 4th place teams in the AHL this year. Amerks have both made the playoffs and improved their record in each of the past four years, and are currently in their 8th playoff series over their span while graduating a half-dozen players into full-term NHLers.

But the Sabres do still suck, so carry on being right about everything.

Number one reason Rousek isn’t an NHL player, too much deference.  Shoot the puck.  I’ve now seen multiple passes when he has a point blank shot at the net.  Then he drop passes it into oblivion.  What is you doing.
