haseoke
Predictions (of course, please respond with your own): EAST Ottawa - Tampa Bay: Ottawa in seven Carolina - Montreal: Montreal in six Jersey - Rangers: Jersey in six Buffalo - Philadelphia: Buffalo in five WEST Detroit - Edmonton: Detroit in five Dallas - Colorado: Dallas in six Calgary - Anaheim: Calgary in game seven triple overtime San Jose - Nashville: San Jose in four That would theoretically set up Ottawa - Montreal, Buffalo - Jersey in the East (cant avoid those devils forever) and Detroit - San Jose, Dallas - Calgary in the West. I'll be accepting your praise in a coupla weeks. j

Taro T
EAST Buffalo 4 - Flyers 1 New Jersey 3 - Rangers 4 Carolina 2 - Montreal 4 Ottawa 4 - Tampa Bay 2 WEST Nashville 2 - San Jose 4 Calgary 4 - Anaheim 3 Dallas 4 - Colorado 3 Detroit 4 - Edmonton 3 I actually expect 1 more upset out west, but can't figure out who I think it will be; so I took the easy way out and picked the favorites in 7. If I figure out who will pull the other upset, I'll revise my west picks. I am giving TB respect for being defending champs; I could actually see that series being a sweep for Ottawa, even without Hasek playing. Also, I am assuming Lundquist will be at least 90% for the Rangers; if Weekes comes in, the Rangers go out.

BRH
Not gonna predict the West because I've barely watched it this year. Even less so this year because of the unbalanced schedule (which I love, btw). Tampa Bay in 6 Carolina in 6 Rangers in 7 Sabres in 6 Sabres over Rangers in 5 Carolina over TB in 7 Sabres over Canes in 6 Thank you. Thankyouverymuch. JujuFish
EAST Ottawa - Tampa Bay: Ottawa in five Carolina - Montreal: Montreal in seven Jersey - Rangers: Jersey in seven Buffalo - Philadelphia: Buffalo in six WEST Detroit - Edmonton: Detroit in five Dallas - Colorado: Dallas in six Calgary - Anaheim: Calgary in six San Jose - Nashville: Nashville in seven I did fine in the East, nailing Buffalo and Ottawa, and only missing Carolina. The West... well... I'd like to not think about that. 3/8 Maybe I should stick with the East.
Taro T
2nd Round Predictions (because I did SOOOOO well with my 1st rounders) Ottawa 4 - Buffalo 2 (Heart says Buffalo, head says Ottawa.) Carolina 3 - NJ 4 (Hoping I have this one wrong as well.) San Jose 4 - Edmonton 2 (If Edmonton is smart enough to play Peca against Marleau, they could prove me wrong. If not, SJ has too much firepower.) Anaheim 4 - Colorado 3 (This one comes down to goaltending. If Jose comes up big, Avs will prove me wrong again.) apuszczalowski
The damn monkey on TSN spun the wheel and took Ottawa, we're doomed, the monkey has been pretty good and picked the cup winner a couple years ago I think I am going to take Buffalo in 4 because I hear they are going to let Heatley drive the team bus back and forth to Buffalo, j/k (I know its bad but its the playoffs)

JujuFish
East: Buffalo - 7 Carolina - 7 West: San Jose - 6 Colorado - 6 I picked the right teams, wrong number of games in the East, and failed miserably yet again in the West. For the next round: East: Buffalo in 6 West: Edmonton in
wjag
I think this is a seven game series Game 1 -- Buffalo 2-1 Game 2 - Canes 3-1 Game 3 -- Canes 3-2 Game 4 - Buffalo 2-0 Game 5 - Canes 3-2 Game 6 - Buffalo 4-1 Game 7 - 3-2 in OT ... And the winner is... The next Stanley Cup Champion...
