JJFIVEOH
This is one of the big mis-conceptions, especially among the national media. The Sabres have no extremely speedy players and only Ennis and Kaleta qualify as particularly speedy. I agree, they're not as fast as they once were. My point was they do have some speedy players making them a multi-dimensional team in terms of types of players.
tom webster
I agree that Sabres are not a "fast" team. But I would include Gerbe on the list of speedy players. When he flies, he flies. That is the biggest misconception of the misconception, Gerbe is quick but he is not flat out fast.
inkman
That is the biggest misconception of the misconception, Gerbe is quick but he is not flat out fast. This. He has never, not once, demonstrated any sort of real speed at the NHL level.
X. Benedict
This. He has never, not once, demonstrated any sort of real speed at the NHL level. Shifty? yes. Quick? yes. Fast? not for the nhl.
BuffaloSoldier2010
I'd consider offering Vanek Miller and one or both of our firsts for the first and a shot at Nathan MacKinnon
