How foolish of me. :blush: I guess it turns out that, although the Flyers were shut out for the 55 minutes other than Richards' penalty time, they would certainly have scored during that 5 minutes had the penalty not been called, or perhaps during the 3 minutes had a 2 minute penalty been called instead, AND they were guaranteed to score a second goal in either the third period or overtime to win the game. Thanks to the female Sherlock Holmes and former NHL scrub Dr. Watson of the prestigious Philadelphia airwaves, the great mystery of why the Flyers did not win last night has been revealed to us. All Along The Watchtower Posted April 21, 2011 Report Share Posted April 21, 2011 Watching the game on DirecTV Versus alternate (Caps-Rags was on the regular VS channel), the CSN Philly guys were saying that Gerbe took a run at the Flyer goon at the end of the game; but MSG post-game showed clearly that the Flyer tried to circumsize Gerbe.
