Thomas Golisano, the owner of the Buffalo Sabres, who had helped -- with $4 million of his own money -- the Democrats take control in last fall's elections. But Golisano recently said he has been stung by the Democrats, who he blamed for crafting a state budget that hiked taxes and hit upstate especially hard. Golisano recently moved his legal residence to Florida to save millions in income taxes. "We were quite unhappy with the way the Democrats responded to some of the commitments they made to reform, both budgetary and process," Golisano said in an interview in Espada's Capitol office an hour after the Senate floor coup.
