  1. The latter. "Share" as in someone is the official account holder and then shares the credentials with their co-account holder. And the unofficial account holder pays 1/2 the cost to the official account holder. I believe that a single account can be on up to 5 (?) screens at one time.
  2. I've stuck with the bootleg streams this season. Thank God. It appears that the underlying technologies have advanced to a point where I can get a pretty darn good cast onto my television (just a large "monitor," basically). The people I know who have fubo love it. I know 5 people who have a fubo account. Those 5 people are spread out over 2 accounts. (The 3 people on one such account and the other 2 on another have no connection to the others - except that I know them and they've all been in my kitchen at some point.) Point being: You should maybe see if there's someone who wants to share the account with you. I think the price point and breadth of offerings are such that you might have some luck.
  3. Ha. It appears that you wisely remain a dispassionate - perhaps mildly amused - bystander when it comes to how mom's rearing her cub(s). I'm all for parents' teaching lessons to, setting limits on their kids' behaviours. Lord knows we see enough sh1tty kids (people) out there in the world who didn't get enough of that at a young age. Query, though, whether a one year old* is developmentally capable of learning the desired lesson. *Stick tap to you for going with "one year old" and refraining from what most parents (myself included, days gone by) can't resist when it comes to their babies/toddlers: Pinpointing age in a weirdly specific way ("Oh, thanks, he turned 13 and a third months yesterday.")
  4. I've agreed with and echoed this sentiment upthread. Yin and Yang. I posted somewhere: There's too much homogeneity with this squad -- lotsa good vibe bros who like to dangle and play a skilled game. To this point specifically, the roster (the status quo) is the way it is by design. Adams' design principally, I presume. And it's fundamentally flawed.
  5. Yeah - that’s what I was saying. It works for him in that he’s an effective C and there are no passengers on that squad.
  6. From what I’ve read, he’s a hyper competitive as.shole much like Drury was. And he can be similarly brutal on teammates. It appears to work for him.
  7. Y'all oughta make like Dennis Miller and eschew obfuscation. (1000 internet points if you can provide Miller's rejoinder on MNF to the fan's sign that displayed that message.)
  8. The weight room piece was definitely part of the Drury lore -- but maybe it was related separately. Drury was a mufugger. And a winner. That's a new one for me. I recall reading a story about how he cracked the whip for some weight training after the team had already been through something (a game? a practice?).
  9. My sense is that Dahlin is the closest this team has to someone in the Drury mould.
  10. The regulars here are like old drinking buddies (or whatever) in that we tell the same stories, reference the same facts/factoids. The one that comes to mind here is the story about how Drury took a virtual baseball bat to Brian Campbell's boom box. Turned the thing off and told him to keep it off. Then, looking around the locker room, told Campbell to get his ass into the weight room. If memory serves, this was after a game (or possibly a practice). Even at the time in hearing this, I remember reacting like "yowza - what a d1ck." Nate MacKinnon, anyone?
  11. Infamously, Captain Clutch could be and very often was an unpleasant, demanding as.shole of a teammate. This group clearly needs someone like that in their midst. There's too much of the same kind of guy on this roster. "Good vibes only," etc. My brother in Christ. Please no.
  12. Stick tap to @bob_sauve28 for an unprecedented hound's breakfast of reaction emojis. (Robyism alert, @PASabreFan.)
  13. It's done. Over. Nice guy. Capable of being a very good hockey coach in certain high-level settings. I'd even venture to say that he's a good person. I like how he views the game of hockey and, by extension, how he approaches life. I'd really prefer that Adams exit with him.
  14. And maybe ol' Cliffy? I'd trade a case of Blue Light for a copy of that picture of Cliff taken at that facility opening event where Cliff was shown weirdly (hauntingly) peering in through a doorway. (Whither @Ghost of Dwight Drane.)
  15. Hmm. Interesting. Birds of a feather? I've previously theorized that Pegula's rubish nature made him an easy mark for bamboozlers like Rex Ryan and RaKru (tm pending @PASabreFan). I had not considered that he'd be attracted to those same qualities himself. Maybe so. P.S. I have a vague memory that it was Kim who advanced Adams' cause, since he was, at that time, working the business side of Harborcenter (??).
  16. I don't disagree on the contract being ill-advised. Laughably so. But that has everything to do with the people managing the franchise, and very little to do with the player. What was the rush? The rush to crown him an immediate top-4 stud. The rush to push him into big minutes over the course of a long season. The rush to cement him in the big club's lineup. The rush to pay him huge money over a long term. What. Was. The. Rush. The more I reflect on it, the more I conclude that Adams is a greenhorn and a rube. Not that I particularly care for this sort of sentiment (because, in general, I say eff what others think), but I think it's fair to guess that his roster management is being laughed at in NHL circles.
  17. That'd be sort of sweet, tbh. Agreed 100% re the balance.
