  1. Krebs definitely has some psycho and rat in him. That was a fun one. He'll be telling his grandkids about that, I'm sure. OTOH, wtf was Krebs doing last night playing patty cake with this Red Wing after the second major collision with UPL?
  2. yeah, i seen rob ray say offsides when someone is acrost the blue line too soon.
  3. Slot guy, right? Seems like Shaqir has a handle on that role.
  4. Yeah we need answers @carpandean
  5. Wore the green dot on a mad sus defense. They were bad. Maybe that was mostly on the back end, though? Whoa - same for me! Except for the Uncle Bill part.
  6. Word. I mean, the Miami guard is good. Maybe very good? I have no idea. But he's a guard. Yep. And having his big bodied ass in the middle frees of Oliver to do his stuff. And while he's ~32 yo -- DT's can be effective into their mid-30s.
  7. Thanks for the summary by the OP. I also read someone on Twitter who provided an overview of what was said. What an enormous bummer this franchise is right now.
  8. Did they re-sign DaQuan (sp)?! Oh sh1t!! They did!!
  9. ⬆️ Correspondingly, I saw the Panthers shell out huge money … for an offensive *guard*. Yikes.
  10. Lotsa player signing news throughout the NFL. Before posting here, I'll wait for an article summarizing the moves that are of interest to Bills fans. (E.g., I saw Gabe Davis to the Jags and that the Bills re-signed Cam Lewis.) The Dawkins' extension definitely warranted its own post.
  11. I was imprecise. The report alludes to the fact that various NHL clubs are doing various things in an effort to control this sort of unregulated secondary market activity. The Sabres are apparently citing a New York licensing issue in order to bring committed resellers to heel. Other clubs are presumably doing other things. And perhaps other states have ticket reselling licensure requirements. The tickets are electronic and very traceable.
  12. Welcome news. I don't think he intended his Tweet to be so disconcerting. (But it was!)
  13. By "certain STHs," the team says this: A team spokesperson said less than 1% of the 2023-24 season ticket member base received this communication – a majority of the accounts being from out of state. So it's apparently a very small number of STHs, most of whom are from out of state. As for being "out of state," I think an implication here is that they're just resellers, not fans. But I wonder whether a lot of these STHs are true fans who live out of state, come back now and then, but need to sell most of their tix. Also, this sort of move is apparently a thing throughout the NHL. That is, again, according to the team.
  14. I didn't watch that piece, but you almost certainly have the title correct. Jillian Hanesworth.
  15. Agreed. Cozens isn't there yet. He took a step back this season in several ways - being a young leader is one of those ways. Of all the players on the roster, I think he might be the best fit - eventually. Tuch seemed to present as a natural leader when he first arrived. All that juice and the Ric Flair woo's. I presume that he's played through some nagging injury this year. I now view him as someone who could wear an A but isn't captain material. Dahlin is the team's best player, signed to the biggest contract. If history is prelude, he will be made captain. I've come to conclude that he lives too much in his own head and otherwise lacks the intangibles needed to effectively serve in the role.
  16. The Shnowman with a vague, possibly concerning Tweet.
  17. Was Vanek the type of player you’d make the captain of your team? (The answer is “no.”)
  18. Dahlin/Dahlin. This is also how I felt before the start of the season. I’m less enthused about the choice now than I was in October. There may be too much Vanek in him. Something about the # 26?
  19. Mildly amusing to see Sabre fans getting activated by a Bruins fan. Once I learned and remembered that factoid, I understood what I needed to know. There’s a guy in my office who is a “Bills fan” because he’s lived in WNY for 20+ years and his kids are Bills fans. But he’s actually a Steelers fan. He often drives the *real* Bills fans crazy in the workplace Bills group chat because he’s weirdly critical of the team (and especially Allen) and, although he’s ostensibly a Bills fan … he isn’t, really. And it shows.
  20. NOT involved with la cosa nostra. Ya hear me?!
  21. Do they do more than the restaurant business? Like do they have frozen wing products in grocery stores? Absent that, it’d be impossible.
  22. Wha? He didn’t even hint at somebody getting whacked.
