  1. Gotcha. in my mind, you were more honed in — and wound up pretty spot on.
  2. Federal elections commission. They have a fantastic website.
  3. Yeah - I'm not sure. Like trying to put the genie back in the bottle. Of course, it's entirely possible that the post was deleted for other reasons. Myriad other reasons, in fact. Bills statement: “We have spoken to LeSean and have been in contact with the National Football League. We will continue to gather information.”
  4. Election law is notoriously technical. I'm sure there are reasons for the contributions being in the amounts and number they were.
  5. Original Instagram post has been taken down (deleted). Not sure what the might signify. Possible that the cops could have asked for it to be removed?
  6. Per another friend of the alleged victim: “This is my beautiful best friend Delicia Cordon. I can’t believe this!! Sending dudes in her house to pistol whip and rob her!! For what?! Now the world knows what we know!!! You will pay for this.. You will NOT get away with this!!!!” Per TMZ We’ve learned LeSean and Delicia have had a contentious relationship for a while -- according to docs obtained by TMZ Sports, McCoy went to court in June seeking to get a judge’s order forcing to her to move out of a home he owns in Alpharetta, Georgia. In court docs, McCoy wrote ... “Defendant is ex-girlfriend of owner/plaintiff and refuses to leave.” He also wanted the judge to force Delicia to return all of his items that were in her possession. In fact, the two sides were scheduled to appear in court on the matter TODAY -- but it might get pushed due to a medical emergency involving a member of her lawyer’s family.
  7. Well, now there's a police report.
  8. Like that girl from the party bus? I'm sayin'.
  9. Hear, hear. There are public figures whom I admire. But I put no one on a pedestal. Not even ... Part of the issue right now: We don't even know who that woman is, when the picture was taken, etc. Shoot - there even remains a chance that the photo is not authentic in any way. I wait for more facts.
  10. There I was thinking that these allegations could not get worse. Fair feckin' point. Why, you motherscratcher. Well, yeah - at this time, I'd have to say, for sure.
  11. I'm gonna stand down for a while, I think. And I'm gonna stop parsing how other people are reacting.
  12. I mean, I guess? Yeah. arguably, for not coming forward earlier.
  13. Okay - I hear you, I think. I was already seeing a lot of bemoaning of the Bills' fortunes on Twitter. Heard your post in the same way. My bad.
  14. I'm not jumping to conclusions. Why don't you want it to be true? I missed Flagg's "ugh" until now. It's so over the top - and the guy's been ... "clean" for so long (I mean, I guess?) - that some restraint seems appropriate.
  15. Yes you do, or reasonably readily could - don't be obtuse. Also, this strikes me as objectively unreasonable. (I'm not saying there's no reason to worry about Eichel. Maybe there is. But this number stuff isn't among the reasons.)
  16. Man, oh man. If true, the guy oughta be in jail ASAP. /Cringes in anticipation of the first OJ Simpson reference. God dammit, what? The initial and only concern here is whether the charges are true.
  17. I go back and forth on this. Is he really crafty? Or mostly just stumbling around from thing to thing? Also, this article is a bit of a frickin' mind f**k. http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2018/07/trump-putin-russia-collusion.html
  18. fwiw - i've taken my part of this discussion over to the Politics Club.
  19. My guess: They should divide athletic competitions based on the "natal" sex of the individuals. I think that's the term - "natal."
  20. I stuck around in the Housley thread on the main board for too long with this stuff, so I'm coming over here. For starters, here's the list of individuals from the states of NY, FL, and TN who've contributed to Karin Housley's US Senate campaign. 21. I thought it was the family's piggy-bank personal use of money from the cable company that brought the whole thing down? Also, how would the Pegulas mix up their political money and team money? Are you suggesting that the Pegulas would personally piggy-bank out of a PSE entity in order to contribute money to a political candidate? Fwiw, the Pegulas donated $21,600 to Karin Housley's campaign - as individuals. It's interesting, actually. Dale Tallon and others from the Panthers organization donated as well. As did the owner of the Preds (through his wife).
  22. Ah, gotcha. Yeah - I don't see that. Yet, as you say. Seems far more likely that the Pegulas give lots of money to politicians, and all of a sudden they had a potentially prominent one (with whose politics they agree, imo) connected to their organization. So they held a fairly lavish fundraiser. If Phil stinks it up as a HC, I can't see them hesitating to fire him for a fresh second because they admire and want to support Karin's politics. If that sort of thing were to come to pass, it would be end days, man.
  23. I think I understand where you're going with that. I think. OTOH, you *were* the lone voice here raising a distant early warning of Pegula having latent political aspirations of some kind -- likely not as a candidate (which would require him to speak), but perhaps as a kingmaker.
