  1. Zegras is a key piece of the Ducks core moving forward.

They're rebuilding with youth, but for them it's also a priority to have a few key veterans around to mentor the kids.

As per my source (who works for the Ducks), 0% chance they trade Zegras or Drysdale.

If they actually win it this year that would be weird. So then we just have to keep winning or we get all pissy and spoiled?

    Yes

I mean, it's every teams goal to win the Cup every year, is it not?

What do you expect KA to say to the media?

Internally, realistically their goal is just to make the playoffs.

Once they get there, the goal obviously changes.

I was a valet in the summers at a local restaurant.    He used to come in now and then.... he'd pop outside every hour or so, light up a dart and hang out w/ us.     Couldn't understand how he was able to do what he did and smoke so much.

Won’t spend the money necessary to revise the 1998 venue, league would like something modern somewhere new. Buffalo has decent tv ratings but small market. Oklahoma City looks to be the landing spot, other wealthy guy in town isn’t getting a hometown discount.

Funny..... my source is beating the same drum.    Heard Bettman is looking south... OKC, HOU, KC.

Hold up on Dahlin contract is due to the fact that a pricey long term deal will make it more difficult to sell the team.

If a sale can't be arranged soon, they're exploring all optiions... including playing the 2024/25 season at Holiday Twin Rinks or Sabreland.
