Rookie Dahlin was better than Rookie Power.

Also Dahlin is a better skater and possesses puck skills Power has only shown flashes of. I can't agree with what you say here.

It's fun that we have 2 #1 defenders though

    Dahlin -13, 44 points, 21:09 toi, 20 ppp, 2:51 pp/toi

    Power +10, 35 points , 23:48 toi, 8 ppp, 1:58 pp/toi

Dahlin soent more time on the power play his rookie year, he's the more skilled and creative offensive player.

That said, Power had the better rookie season even strength... better +/-, more es points, toi... but they're very very close.

  2. I believe Adams fully understands the predicament in net, however he's sticking to his "want to be here" requirement.

Buffalo is well known across the league as goaltender purgatory.   The team gives up too many shots and scoring chances.   For that reason established veteran goaltenders are avoiding Buffalo like the plague, it's career suicide.

The solution most likely needs to come from within.  The team needs to improve their defensive play and continue to develop their own goaltenders.

That said, it would be great if a veteran waived their no-trade believing they could be the missing piece to end the longest playoff drought in pro sports, but that hasn't happened.

  3. It's all bunk.

You're telling me these supremely advanced beings can build anti-gravity craft, travel through wormholes or from other dimensions, but they crash in our atmosphere?

This kinda stuff is gaining traction now for two reasons.

    1. The rise of social media which promotes this type of garbage to keep the population at large distracted.

    2. At no point in our history has the minority had a larger voice than they do now.

That said are there skunk works type military programs testing advanced tech? Of course.

In this day and age where everyone has a high res recording device in their pocket, there is still no verifiable proof.

In UPL's 17 wins, the team scored 5 or more goals 12 times. He allowed less than 3 goals in just 4 of these wins, and allowed 4 goals or more in 5 of his 17 wins.

UPL's record did not come from good goaltending, it came from the offense winning track meets when he was in net, when it was at its hottest:
    luukkonen.thumb.PNG.33355d8744362cd49310e5f0b34de3e0.PNG

The red circles are non-UPL games during the time when UPL was stacking his wins. The team was scoring no matter who was in net. As soon as the scoring dried up, he stopped winning, and still gave up a lot of goals:
    upl2.PNG.6f0fa95648f2ca67bbf8f19a5fddd4c9.PNG

He had a good game now and then, as any goalie in the NHL is capable of, but when people point to his record, it needs to be stressed that he got the wins when the team was potting 6 every night no matter who was in net, and when his wins stopped, it was because the offense fell apart, and he allowed way more goals than can be considered acceptable all along the way. I don't care what his record was. If his performance track and development arc continue, and Levi doesn't become a stud in 60+ games, goaltending will be a threat to our playoff bid

TNT is definitely in the top 10 centres as far as offensive play. His defensive game needs work and his faceoff skills.

I would say he is in the group around 7-12 depending on how effectiveness is measured.

Guys like Bergeron, Barkov and Kopitar can’t score like Tage but bring other facets of the position that make them highly valued.

TNT may not need to be as good defensively because his skating, size, reach and stick handling have him keep the puck longer than most. Being on the positive side of the possession game is a good form of defense.

    This 100%.

He's a top 10 scoring center (8th among centers last season) but only a top 15-20 all-around center.
