@BillHoppeNHL Patrick Kaleta on his determination: "When I shoot, I’m shooting to score. When I hit, I’m imagining it’s Tom Brady."#Sabres #Buffalo

3 accounts? The ban therefore was long overdue Ban the other.
-
Nope.
-
8-8. Because until they disprove 15 years of ineptness. It is what it is.
-
I'm two episodes into Narcos. Pretty damn good.
-
With Jack Eichel, Sabres can now focus on winning.

Problems with the opposing teams headsets at Gillette...again? I'm shocked!! http://deadspin.com/what-exactly-happened-with-the-steelers-headsets-1730005682?hipra_discussion_redesign=off&utm_expid=66866090-52.r5txldOmRkqnbJxnyozIeA.1&utm_referrer=http%3A%2F%2Fdeadspin.com%2F%3Fhipra_discussion_redesign%3Doff

Yep. Where's that guy who said we should tank again? Having that quality of top end talent and tanking are mutually exclusive concepts.

The article also goes into this as well, but I think the absolute location of that line to walk is different for a team like NE. For example those substitution shenanigans the Pats were pulling last year that were clearly against the spirit of the rules and are now illegal, I don't think many teams even consider going there.
-
If you read the espn article you read multiple accounts of the Pats having an uncanny knack of knowing what plays were coming in big games. Sure every team tries to walk that line to gain whatever advantage possible, to believe otherwise is naive. However, IMO its just as naive to think the Pats don't walk that line more often in ways unique only to them and that they dont cross it more often than every other team in the league.
-
The SI article goes into what I've always thought the Pats were way more guilty of than outright cheating..good old fashioned piss poor sportsmanship. Warm Gatorade, corroded batteries in headsets etc. Just slimy. How anyone can continue to defend that organization I do not know.
-
Until it actually proves to be different I expect 7-9 wins. I'm calling 8-8 now.

Anesthetize is 17 minutes of epic awesomeness. Alex Lifeson of Rush provides the guitar solo here.

Dan Carpenter will be fine.....or something
-
Nope. Cheat, lie, obfuscate, deflect....and receive minimal punishment. Why would they stop now?
-
I don't want anyone to purposely try to injure him, no. He's 37 and has his rings, however tainted they may be, if the process of his eventual demise is sped up some by risks inherent to a violent game then I'll not shed a single tear.

If there was ever a time for karma to rear her bitchy head, it will be sometime during the month of September for Tommy Boy. Here's to hoping that Brady ends up wishing for the rest of his days that he had been suspended.
-
Ahh cool, and you're welcome. Ha! look at that, almost the same post two plus years later.

I have to agree. While the Bills do look good on paper, until that translates into enough wins for the playoffs and beyond the jury remains out on DW and everyone else.

Been into PT for years, but the last I checked into it it's very uncertain whether they will ever record again. Steven Wilson has been more into his solo band in recent years, and I agree with Swamp that those efforts are fantastic. Steven Wilson's Blackfield project also produced a couple great albums. Most people here who have listened to WGR have heard Porcupine Tree, but they probably didn't know it. They used to play the opening to "Shallow" from the Deadwing album as bumper music years ago.

Holy crap, not living in Buffalo and having the Bandits completely off my radar I had no idea he was still playing at 46! I went to many Bandits games in the early 90's. Congrats on a long and illustrious career Mr. Tavares.
-
Yeah, honestly I only scanned the list and only read maybe the top 20. I guess it makes sense that with all the glaring omissions that they had with NC that there would also be a slew of other ridiculous statements in the rest of the list.

Good for him. I've never been a "2nd favorite team" guy, but I'll be rooting hard for Seattle this year.
