We have allowed the most first period goals in the NHL with 48 this year and are an NHL worst -22 in goal differential after 1 period. And the PP is terrible. Hard to win when you are constantly chasing the game for the last 2 periods and you can't cash in when you have the man advantage.

When an 18 year old rookie 25ish games into his NHL career is your best forward without the puck that's a problem. Even bigger problem is he was that since about game 5.

Yup...mostly the only way they score is on a PP rush or the odd one timer. Half the issue is they can't hit the net or get shots blocked constantly.

Really amazing to see how the Bruins passed the puck on the power play like it was on a string bing bang boom and in the net...Sabres players went out to them and before they got there it was gone to the next player. Sabres need to put that on replay over and over again as an example of what they need to do. Their power play is so bad, they can barely even get a shot on goal when they get set up in the zone. They pass it around endlessly and then either get their shot blocked or lose the puck and it ends up down the ice. Or make a bad pass out of the zone. Or shoot it wide and out of the zone. They have way too much talent to look that bad on the PP.
