I would re-sign Hal Irwin to a multi-year deal before he gets scooped up on the UFA market.

The good news...we didn’t lose any “valuable” forwards such as Bjork, Tage, Okposo or Girgensons. Why the need to draft Power when Borgen is so easily replaceable.

Hopefully the replacement isn’t too physical. We don’t want to give fans the wrong impression. 😉

Link? I have trouble believing the Sabres have lost on average 30 mil per year.

I’m very leary that players who improved a lot after DG took over, will continue those big leaps. Why? Because how much of a structured system did DG use last year, versus just telling them to go play and don’t worry about making mistakes. We will find out come October.

I was told by someone here(don’t remember who), that because him and six people he knows are all renewing, that there will not be a substantial drop in STH numbers.

On a team that needs to be more physical and tougher to play against on the blueline, there is a good chance Borgen and Risto will not be here on opening night. Let’s see who they are replaced with...after all, I was told players like them are “easily replaced”. 😞

You mean replaced with guys like Matt Irwin and Brandon Davidson? Maybe just maybe...he is not as easily replaced as you think.

No way Dahlin should be offered a contract anywhere close to Heiskenan. I don't care how much future potential is there, how many UFA years he is giving up, blah blah blah. I'm not even sure he is worthy of a 6mil cap hit over a long term contract.

I am very nervous that KA(despite having Karmanos to assist), is going through a deer in the headlights period, and because of that, ends up not making moves that need to be made, or panics, and makes bad moves. I hope I'm wrong.

Then how about useless or easily replaceable? Maybe crapping was a poor choice of words, but there are posters who don’t seem to care if he stays or goes.

Not sure why people are crapping all over Borgen. He brings a physical element to the blueline(which is needed...especially if Risto is gone), looks like an okay skater...a decent 2nd pair/3rd pair tweener. ...and don't tell me his skill set is easily found. If so, why do the Sabres have so little toughness on the blueline.

Loud obnoxious people suck! Just went for a drink down by the waterfront. Girl on the other side of the bar was louder than loud...and on top of that, every other word out of her mouth was an F bomb. So much for that. One drink, and it was back home.

The Masshole tapped out, and IMO, I believe Terry said...if he wants out, then get rid of him.
