  1. I think you could argue for Tuch or Dahlin, but, I think your post-Okposo Sabre captain will be Cozens. He's a leader, a score and will be even more dominant when he finishes growing into his body - i think he gains 15 more pounds of muscle in the next couple of years
  2. KC needs to get healthy in the next 2 weeks as their current receiving corp makes ours looks all world
  3. not sure that was #58 on the bench, though i could be wrong. Looked like his number ended in a 9?? hard to tell
  4. To get a point with the tage line not scoring and giving up a 5on5 goal + asshat refs calling the game as they did...got to be happy with the point. I mean, are these referees actually supervised/graded? How can they possibly not be demoted to the AHL after turning in constant homer performances like this. There's no integrity in this game all too often.
  5. Goaltending also won us a point.....I choose glass half full
  6. yep - don't make the obvious calls, just make the phantom hooking calls where MIN grabs are stick and acts like they've been raped. Assclown refs...hate them all
  7. really bad play by line 1 there - stayed on the ice way too long and were exhausted. Tuch should have just dumped it in and got a full change. Insted turned it over - play other way...goal
  8. i'm not a huge fan, and yes he'll get better. But I'll say hes been responsible for our surge as much as anybody. 13-2 in last 15 with 3.06 GAA .909 SV %, Still not elite (except for record), but his first few games really dragged his overall stats down
  9. d0onpt care about save %, care about high scoring chance save %. If he's facing twice as many high scoring chances a game than some goalies that's telling. For instance, Comrie's game was relatively stress free the other night, until the last 5 minutes, because Buffalo had 80% of the game's high scoring chances in the first 55 minutes. Peg had some in the last 5, changing it to 67% Buf/33% Peg Hope you're right but I think prob not against Fleury. Despite scoring 6 vs him last game, he typically makes it hard to score.
  10. to a certain extent but I think there are better measures. I think Marty Brodeur is one of the most overrated goalies ever for instance. Great GAA, Great Save %, a ton of shutouts, also played in a defensive system that was historic for allowing so few scoring chances
  11. What's his high chance save %, that's probably a better indicator. Sabres are fun to watch, but they're also fun to play against as there not exactly the most defensive aware team
  12. 4 more years at 11.5. Didn't realize he's only 32. RHD and we could fit him under our cap. His salary would be going away when we start paying some of the youngsters. Still.....I'd be shocked
  13. Next year, I think Kulich>Rousek
  14. Extremely good analysis and I agree with everything 100%. Clague has to play ahead of Bryson
  15. Best game vs a quality opponent by a Sabres team in years. Dominant performance, even if the score makes it seem closer. Could have been 8-2
  16. and the guy who should have been kicked out of the game - nice job NHL - docuhebags
  17. way to ask for the shutout - idiotic!! Terrible puck clear
  18. sloppy by Krebs That elbow to Cozends warrants a suspension - it's what the NHL "supposedly" wants out of the NHL
  19. nice vicious elbow ignored by refs
  20. He's much better defensively but Dahlin was better offensively. Dahlin was also handicapped by having Housley and Krueger as coaches which can't be discounted
  21. I see refs have their A game again. After ignoring two trips on Winnipeg, another penalty on Sabres. Was a high stick but the call on Skinner was a joke
  22. solution, if we have the balls to do it: Chychrun for Savoie and a 1st.
  23. Fair but how much of that 8 game losing streak was on Comrie's shoulders vs. the rest of the team??
