could be though we've been rumored for Yurov at 16 for a while. No D's worth 16 at this point, we're getting another forward. would love taking a gamble on Nazr or Lambert here - they were both ranked top 3 at the beginnign of the year before having average years. I'm not high on Yurov - I actually like Perevalov of Russia better and he's not going until rd 2
-
i'm been begging for him for days
-
not kidding - it's been said he could be the best forward in the draft. Only downside is 5'9" is what you're going to get as his Dad is 5'9"
-
hope not - oloffson v2 and we have that
-
savoie if you want speed and the highest ceiling - could be the best offensive player in the draft. If you want size, it's Geekie.
-
as to be Savoie, right?
-
yes - Korchinski gone opens up a stud forward to fall to us
-
No D for us in this range and the only ones to consider here are LHD.
-
at 16, not at 9. Savoie, Kemell or even Geekie at 9. I don't want Lekerrimaki at 9, I think he's too much of a perimeter player for me, a clone of Oloffson and we have oloffson.
-
Substitute Savoie for lekk and I'm really happy. Is Chesley a RHD?
-
Yep but its been said he's going back to Russia after the draft

7 and Kane for 9, 28 and 41? -
Kuemper is an excellent goalie who was excellent in the regular season. Colorado only needed mediocre GT in the playoffs and that's what Kuemper was. He was mediocre cuz he was playing through an injury

Game 5 5/19/22 Rochester @ Utica 7:05 pm - AHLTV

He's 20 years old playing in his first playoffs. He played a hell of a game defensively. Can't be so quick to judge -
yep for the 6th goal, Greer took it right through 44 and made Dell look foolish
-
WHOMEVER #4 is on Rochester is, he is hideous. Got burned on goal #4 and almost cause a 5th goal. Slow and small is not a good defenseman

Playoff GDT - 5/4/22 Belleville @ Rochester 7:05 pm AHLTV (?)

Ruutsolanen on a rebound. Belleville dominated OT and could have scored 5-6 times. Rochester scored on really their only chance, and it was a simple rebound off a long wrist shot from the point. -

I've watched hockey for a long time and can't remember a more poorly refereed games. Absolutely abysmal -
GDT: 4/23/22 NY Islanders at Buffalo, 12:30pm MSG, ESPN+, WGR
CTJoe replied to jsb's topic in The Aud Club
I watched Anson. it wasn't all that bad, though he wasn't really correct. He wasn't going to put the Islanders down, so is instead of speaking the truth (Islander are tired and really mailed in the game/rest of the season), he softened it by saying that the Islanders took the Sabres likely. The play by play announcers were good, saying the ice was slanted in Buffalo's direction and multiple times praised Thompson and the way Skinner was getting under the skin of the islanders -
1) Team MVP Tage 2) Rookie of the Year Samuelson 3) Comeback Player of the Year Skinner 4) Unsung Hero (player who doesn’t get enough credit) Okposo 5) Top Forward Tage 6) Team Norris Dahlin 7) Team Vezina Levi Edit 8.) Most improved player. (I knew I was forgetting something). Tage

Trading down later in the 1st won't get you a 2nd - there are only 7 picks after the Bills in the 1st, it would probably net you a late 3rd. you could probably get an early 2nd, an early 3rd and maybe a later pick for #25 - a team wanting a QB trading up. In this scenario i draft: best CB in the early 2nd Best RB in the late 2nd (WIll Walker III be there) Best WR in early 3rd Best Olineman in late 3rd Now, if a CB or WR falls to 25 that I'm not expecting to - WIlliams/Olave type, all trades off

Darcy Kuemper would be a spectacular add - I've begged for him for years. Now, I don't know why he would sign with the Sabres but we certainly have the cash to throw at him. Career 139 wins, 92 losses , 2.46 GAA, 0.918 S%. And this is while playing most of his career with ARI. Sign a decent backup, or if UPL's development isn't hurt as a backup, use him in that role
