Just watching the Donnie and Dhali sports show out here in Vancouver (Don Taylor, formerly of Sportsnet). They are saying the Canucks blew it by not taking Benson when they had the chance. They're kinda pissed, lol. The consensus seems to be we got a steal on our hands.

1. Clague is not as bad as he's portrayed here. 2. OEL is that bad. I've watched OEL the last few years. It's not that he doesn't help the Canucks, it's that he actually hurts them and is a detriment whenever he's on the ice.

After watching OEL this year, I would definitely keep Clague over him.

You're wrong, he's not rebounding, he's fallen off so far as to be let go by a non-playoff team who paid millions for the pleasure of removing him from the team. He's done, not sure how much clearer I can make that after watching the Canucks all year like I do every year.

Why do you think the Canucks, a non-playoff team, paid millions of dollars for OEL to not play hockey for them anymore? And you want him on our team? Yeesh.

That would be a horrible decision. He was awful at even strength, awful on the power play, awful on the penalty kill. He's done, and it's obvious.

I live in Vancouver. He is awful, and done. His career may actually be over.

As someone living in Vancouver who follows the Canucks coverage, I don't think OEL would make Rochester this year. He was truly awful. Bad on even strength, bad on the power play, bad on penalty kills. Just bad. I'm not sure he stays in the NHL.

Just like everyone else, but when you're in the vast minority you may want to consider that other peoples opinions.
