What makes it interesting?

Just coming on here about to post the same thing. Not sure if Hagel would be as good as he is now if we signed him, but even at half his production would be tremendous for this franchise. Especially with the way he plays and the heart he shows.

In a good way or bad?

I’m torn as a fan right now. I swore I would never root to lose like I did for mcdavid. That was dumb. Ultimately I’d rather us figure things out, get our stuff together, go on a win streak and play great the rest of the year. But if we continue to play inconsistent and don’t improve much then I at least hope we don’t fall out of the top 4.

If the sharks can get a 1st for Ganlund then we should be able to get two 1sts for Zucker.

I know he signed an extension, but can it be bought out? Terminated? What’s the earliest he can come try out North America?

What about someone like Brandt Clark? He might be available. Young right shot defenseman. Could pair with Dahlin or one of our LHD?

I was pretty familiar with the 2023 draft. Obviously Bedard is better than any of the prospects. But does this class compare at all to Carlsson or Fantilli?

How does this draft class top 5 compare to other recent years?

I hope I’m wrong, but I think these trade rumours are going to get the fans all excited and then the trade deadline will come and go with no real movement. Adams will then give another speech about how he tried but we don’t have palm trees.
