Actually, he has a cousin in the organization, so I'd say his "inside knowledge " may be better than most 😉

Not the point. The fact that @ this stage of his career he would not want to play at home is telling.

He has inside knowledge of the dysfunctional aspect of this team and lack of leadership both ON the ice and off. He could have been a difference maker here.

I've always said Torts was the perfect coach for this young team.

Honestly, there is no passion or a sense of urgency with this team which is strange because for the most part, they are so young. That tells me the coach is coddling them.

Teams are fearless when they play the Sabres.
