  1. Ya know, it took Dahlin a few years before he decided to stand up for himself but he was also adjusting to living in a new culture and overall environment. I sincerely hope that Power takes that step. I almost said that his career depends on it but he’s already wealthy so I would just say his success as a player/good Dman depends on it. He seems like a bright enough kid so there’s that. Hopefully it comes together for him soon.
  2. In spite of his obvious talent, he simply hasn’t played with any desire. That’s why I would move on from him. He’s had time and has shown exactly what he is. Get rid of his contract and auntie Em style even if ya gotta accept a sub par deal. He’ll continue to get eaten alive for years by any player who feels like taking his lunch money and his submissive style will affect the entire team…. #1 player in his draft. Pathetic
  3. He doesn’t have to smash anybody but he could be an excellent/upper tier NHL D man if he would physically impose his will. Doesn’t gotta be mean just a little more intense.
  4. lol… I got this dude. Ju lol … Just an original fan who doesn’t post much. Tell me I’m wrong. … I sincerely miss the Sabres being in the league
  5. Freaking mind blowing obvious. We’ve been loosing for so damn long. Always getting pushed/intimidated. Takes some snarl to get what ya want. .. How could this not have been apparent and addressed?? … Ya gotta play like ya wanna win. The talent level isn’t that far off. I would trade Powers in a freaking heartbeat
  6. Used to love watching guys like Shonfield, Korab, Playfair, Dudley, May, Ray but it’s more important for these guys to play fearless than to win a fight. Can’t stand seeing a guy get intimidated off his game. .. No room for guys like that. That being said… there’s already fines and such. Good enough. The game has been toned down enough.
  7. Hmmm .. sounds like late 60’s ? … Old growth forests can be frightening.
  8. Mainly hiking or fishing. Kayaking rather than rafting as the Cattaraugus creek is too shallow during summer months for rafting. That’s about it.
  9. About hr south of Buffalo .. Zoar Valley NY .. works for me
  10. I appreciate Tuch defending Peterka BUT can't help but wish somebody would teach him how to fight. .. Love the guy but you can do better Alex. Ok.. yeah.. the league has changed. Pretty obvious but it's also obvious that it's still a game where intimidation still happens. So, it will always be necessary to be able to defend teammates. ... Thanks Alex but get a heavy bag and a trainer. .... All that said..... it's game two so gotta not over react.
  11. Good point and I'm glad he flourished last year. He's on "easy street" now so he should be comfortable .... I can't help but think he needs Levi up and challenging him. This could be the best of both worlds. ...... We are so fuking due! .... Sorry but I'm not getting younger and that's that.
  12. We all thought our Sabres were gunna make the jump last year. .. Maybe they would have, had they added some of the type players that they added today. But it took Ruff pointing out the obvious for them to get some NHL players with guts/passion/balls. .. Adams biggest mistake was not doing it last year. ... Terry Pegula hires and pays a lot for people to run his teams. This is KA's last shot but I support his work for the most part.
  13. Before we can truly judge GM KA, we need to see if any of our high level prospects can play complement to our (very good/damn good) rostered forwards. The Sabres have some undeniable upper-level talent.
  14. Coz trying to do too much...... fukin go sabes!!!
  15. I'm sure ya can't play balls to the wall for 82 games but..... at least there should be a player or two playing hard. Hard to watch!!!
