Was at the game - with what’s happened this week decided I needed to make the trip from CT for this game and tomorrow’s. Came with my son - crazy atmosphere - not sure if it was a sellout but sure looked like it. Sat near the Sabres bench and they were going nuts when the crowd started chanting MVP for TNT after his goal. UPL was very good despite 5 goals not sure why everyone is saying fleury was insane - Sabres got outshot by a lot - and the 5th goal he gave up to Dahlin was hideous Dahlin was insane middlestadt was insane - perhaps he needs to play vs his home state team every game crowd was loud ref tried to take game away from us in the 3rd samuellson has a rare very bad game we’re missing hardhitting dman but it is what it is. When Dahlin is your best checking dman, there’s an issue amazing game now let’s go Bills - behind Buffalos bench for tomorrow’s game too Yes Jost is a steal - one of the best players on the ice today. Claque is solid - was our 3rd best dman tonight

Picking on the wrong D tonight. Dahlin and Samuelsson were the problem (combined -3 and a lot of d zone sloppiness). Power and Bryson were fine; +1 each

Not power - dahlin/ samuellson pairing had been hideous tonight last goal Dahlin screws up behind his net and Samuelson leaves the front of the net leaving Ovie wide open we are defensively a very undisciplined team - sloppy

My takeaways: -Just 4 or 5 great games, but UPL can’t be sent down to Rochester at this point. -refs and jack Edwards can suck me -character wide and SKILL wise, we win the eichel trade especially with #19 suddenly relevant - would have loved to hear Jeannerette announce the game today

I agree - my rankings show a ton of D available in rounds 2-4 that either have size and defensive ability or are small and are fast with a offensive upside. Of course, I don't have any in those rounds with both, those are top 15 players - Nemac and Jiricek and maybe Korchinski and Mintyukov. Though, as LHD, the latter 2 don't interest me as much

true - always BPA as these guys won't play for us for at least 2-3 years. If all else is equal, though, look for centers a D. I don't really want Lekkerimaki at 9 and Yurov at 16. Lekk is a bit small and Yurov may be available at 28 due to the Russian thing

Yep, always better drafting centers as they can move to wing easily. Wingers don't move to center typically. Tonight look for BPA at 9, center at 16 and D at 28 (unless by some miracle Nemec or Jiricek falls to 9 or we move up for one of them)
