  1. I agree. I think TP is determined to prove himself a maverick and prove everybody wrong that he did it Myyyyyyyyyy Waaaaayyyyyyyy!
  2. Silver lining? The Amerks won! πŸ˜†
  3. We are a limp, flaccid punching bag of an organization from top to bottom. The league knows it, the refs know it, the other teams know it. Even a tough guy like Lindy has been neutered. Make it stop,
  4. We don't seem to get similar calls, do we? Hmmmm.....
  5. The funny/sad thing is that now, teams will actually be focused coming into a game against us, in that "we don't want to be the team that loses to the Sabres".
  6. It's an excellent question, and honestly a good one for a poll. I personally don't think it's that binary. I think maybe his input, when given as de facto POHO, is not good/informed/constructive/respected (some combination of all).
  7. An organization full of quitters, plain and simple.
  8. I'm starting to think the plan is to miss the playoffs, Adams takes the fall, Lindy gets kicked upstairs, and they restructure to bring in a new GM and coach for yet another rebuild.
  9. Turd troll. The overuse of exclamation points and ALL CAPS is a dead giveaway of low IQ
  10. Well, we know Benson comes from a carnival lineage.
  11. Reilly responded to TT's big hit on Mathews
  12. So if there's no whistle, who determines there was a penalty after the fact? If there was no goal, would there have been no penalty?
  13. If we didn't have bad luck, we'd have no luck at all.
  14. Time for the guys with the Cs and As on their sweaters to play with some GD pride and lead the team out of the abyss. LFG
  15. In terms of a problem solving exercise, I think this discussion gets to the root cause of the dysfunction, that is, the role the Sabres play in TP’s entire business empire. It may be that he and his bean counters are β€œOK” with operating losses on a portion of the business portfolio because there is some other financial (or non-financial) benefit that we’re not aware of/ privy to. But I guarantee there is some financial metric below which they will get antsy and do something (sell, actually commit to building a winner, etc). That and reputational damage, which is harder to measure. But as long as the Bills are playing well, that minimizes that risk. Make no mistake, he is a businessman above all else.
  16. With your chin held high, your conscience clear, and your integrity intact.
  17. Correct. They play small and light.
