I get that. But if folks choose to wallow in the bad instead of celebrating the good, oh, well. Every game has a dozen bad things that could be pointed out. And every game needs to be viewed myopically because the in-game situations are always different. If the Jets did not call that bone-headed play with Harvin in the endzone, this game may have turned out very differently. The Offense put up 43 points. Many of them gift-wrapped by the defense. But still, Orton had a 23 yards per completion average and threw for four TDs. The Bills had a third/fourth string RB in the game. To complain about a 2 yards per run average seems crazy to me. If the number one RB only had 2 yards, I get the complaints. But Buffalo was running with a Brown (3rd string) and Summers (full back) today. The Jets D was stout. Everyone knows that. To try and throw on them exposes a QB to hits. It made sense to run as much as possible.

With all due respect, the team has won three of its last four. They turned the ball over six times, beat a division opponent on the road and smashed them to boot. I'm sleeping happy tonight. The QB threw for 4 TDs, threw deep, and had a 23.8 yards/completion average. I can find a positive stat for all your negative stats. Watkins 3-157 and a TD, 4 sacks today

They were missing three starters today. They lost Woods in the game. They are playing with a third/fourth string running back. Still they overcame. I genuinely don't care how ugly the wins are in September and October. It's November and December that count for pretty. You don't make the playoffs in September and October, but you do play yourself out of them. I think the offense will get better. I think Orton is enough of a playmaker to get it done.

Reading this thread is hilarious. You would think they were on the bad end of a 43-23 score. Team is winning with Orton. Missing starting two tailbacks and on the road, no problem. Jets imploded in 3rd quarter starting with that end zone trickery.

So, how about we talk some politics? Polls are now really tight in Colorado, Kansas, Iowa, Arkansas and North Carolina. For the first time in weeks, I now believe the GOP could actually send Reid to the minority party. That is quite the turn around from just weeks ago when some unknown independent had a 10 point lead on a sitting Senator.

Got 4 tickets to Arizona vs Washington for 56 dollars. Sure it's Arizona, but still, it's Washington too. Maybe this time Ovi will play. Every other time I've gone, he has been out of lineup.
