NHL approves Andrew Barroway's purchase of the majority stake of the Yotes.

Canada had some glorious chances late in that period. I like Domi.. That kid is a player and has a level of nastiness and vision to his game.

Always a fun one. Good luck US. If Canada is to beat us today, may it be on the stick of Samson Surprised Canadian isn't going with Fucale. This game is really chippy already. Great save by Demko.

If Marrone is even thinking of quitting, I would show him the door. His credentials for a HC are as thin as they come to begin with. I have not hid my disdain for him from the day it was announced he was to be HC. I for one, will be happy to open the exit door for him.

In the category of, I have never seen that before, Ryan Miller was 1/2 on penalty shots stopped last night.

I can listen to him. With CI, I routinely listen to the other team's broadcast. I already know a lot about the Sabres. I like to hear what other team's think and a different perspective. I find it helps my fantasy hockey knowledge too. Besides, I find listening to Razor a bit tiring. Edwards is okay most days. I don't think his initial assessment is wrong. I was actually watching that game and remember the play. I was listening to the Jackets broadcast though and they didn't pick up on it. I remember the play though because the puck was gone for a noticeable amount of time and then it reappeared right in front of the goal. None of the players reacted like it was out of play. Usually they immediately point and in this case, they didn't

The science: computers, physics, mathematics, etc to do these things always amazes me. From Nasa.gov "NASA's Dawn spacecraft has entered an approach phase in which it will continue to close in on Ceres, a Texas-sized dwarf planet never before visited by a spacecraft. Dawn launched in 2007 and is scheduled to enter Ceres orbit in March 2015. Dawn recently emerged from solar conjunction, in which the spacecraft is on the opposite side of the sun, limiting communication with antennas on Earth. Mission controllers have programmed the maneuvers necessary for the next stage of the rendezvous, which they label the Ceres approach phase The spacecraft's arrival at Ceres will mark the first time that a spacecraft has ever orbited two solar system targets. Dawn previously explored the protoplanet Vesta for 14 months, from 2011 to 2012, capturing detailed images and data about that body."

That's some wild and scary stuff. The poor mice... Someday they are going to rise up.

It was bound to happen.

I voted for Gil today.

and then there's this.... "The 2015 Winter Classic might not start at 1:00 p.m. ET on Thursday as currently scheduled. The glare from the sun is a potential factor that might cause the contest to be delayed. The players have been advised to be prepared for the game being pushed back." Rotoworld

The number 1 goalie snubbing continue. Lightning called up Syracuse prospect, Andrei Vasilevskiy, to play goal against Buffalo on Wednesday even though their goalies are apparently healthy enough to play.

I suppose it depends on how much he enjoys his paycheck.. Just checked cap geek. He is working for less than Kaleta money

:flirt: The best part was Lucic got flattened by Sevard in the real world

Yikes. Now there is one rough and tumble hockey player. Send him to Edmonton.
