  1. Agree… There was already a big fast trend of more and more people every year working from home. But I think now that trend is going to increase quite a bit after all this is behind us. I don’t know what the percentage of work at home jobs are in this country, but I can certainly see it doubling or tripling in the next year.
  2. I’m repeating what he said. Full stop. No opinion. No commentary. If you want to add opinion or commentary and spin. Go for it. I’m not interested in that garbage.
  3. Wrong, some posters here have proven over and over and over again that they can’t have an adult discussion about this topic without using insulting words, insulting names, and immature grandstanding and statements. it’s nice when you can click into this thread and get information about this virus. Non-political facts. A lot of posters here are biting their tongue and holding back on political opinions because it doesn’t help the discussion of the facts. There is a thread to discuss politically driven opinion and politically driven discussion about this virus. And it shouldn’t be this thread.
  4. Vice President Pence just announced 2,000 ventilators are arriving to NY later today. And another 2,000 will arrive tomorrow. So that’s good news!
  5. Agree. There’s talk. There’s wishes. There’s hope. But in the end, in NY, this state shutdown will last (at the most optimistic) until mid April and most likely longer. The state hasn’t reached the apex yet. Once it’s on the far side of the Apex, I can see some restrictions loosening up a little.

  7. The concession workers (and perhaps others I’m not aware of) ARE Delaware North employees NOT PSE employees. Some are conveniently choosing to ignore that. The hospitality workers that are PSE employees fall under janitorial, Lexus club, 200 level employees, ushers on all levels. And similar employees at Harbor Center and the restaurants there.
  8. Doctors, nurses, police, most politicians, most medical staff with a good degree, say hello. i think it’s a mix. It’s not all one way or all another way. I see minimum wage earners to millionaires as still essential workers during this pandemic ?‍♂️
  9. Yes. Pay that shtuff off as soon and as much as you can possibly do. I know I would.
  10. Young John Tortarella It just showed our PP was 0 for 8 .... some things never change ?
  11. If the pitch of the seats at the KBC were less than they are now, but more then the Aud, it would be inherently “louder”. The way it’s pitched along with a bad product most years, makes it so much quieter. A shame.
  12. If that team had better secondary scoring .... man! Stevens was so predatory.
  13. 1994 vs. 2020 An era that will never ever return no matter how hard some fans hang on and wish it wasn’t so ?

  19. Yea it’s a shame that Boces, Arc, Aspire and others have closed up. Those kids and parents need the help so much. On the bright side (sorta), all those aids, teachers, health care providers can work off the books for a family IF the family can afford to pay them whatever rate they negotiate. I have a friend who’s doing that right now. She has 3 clients (children) and does one on one work with them. Each kid gets her help 2-3 times a week for 2-4 hours. It helps the kids, it helps the parents, and the under the table money helps my friend keep her bills paid and food on the table. Literally!
  20. If I can get my rabbit ears to get a strong signal I’ll update you. i need to put more tinfoil on the ends since it’s rainy and cloudy today.
