Back in the day Hershey and Rochester was one of the nastiest rivalries in all of sports. Fights during warmups, fights in the penalty boxes, bench clearing brawls, fights in the hallways. I remember one game where an injured Hershey player, who was not playing and wearing a suit, got into a fight with one of the Amerks off the ice after he got tossed from the game. Old time hockey at its finest.

Columbus gave the Sabres a golden opportunity, and they pooped their pants. That was the game right there. Still, I liked the compete after that ***** storm in the beginning of period 2. Sabres under RK woulda taken their ball and gone home.

I gots to say, win or lose, this is the most entertained I've been watching a Sabres game in a loooong ***** time!!!

I don't get it, with RK if this team had a lead they just sat back and took the abuse and were constantly out shot in the 3rd period, by a huge margin. New coach, more aggressive play, and they still turn into turtles in the 3rd period. The beginning of the year they were playing end to end for 60 mins. Now they look like they are satisfied with a tie or lead heading into the 3rd, and just go into protect mode. Just like the Bills.....no killer instinct. And Granato looks like a statue when they turtle. But as long as his glasses match his suit color, he seems A OK. This team still has no clue how to finish teams off. They don't have the size and grit to wear teams down in the end. They get pushed all over the place when it comes to crunch time. Weak!!! And having garbage cans for goalies doesn't help either. Although from what I saw, Dell seemed.....eh....ok? I heard a lot of pings in the last 10 mins.

The epitomy of Buffalo sports. You'll think we're good, but in the end we'll just rip your ***** heart out. I sat through 40 degree wind swept rain today to watch the Bills get embarrassed, only to come home and watch an amazingly brutal loss by the Sabres. Un ***** real. Can't take much more of this *****. Terry and Kim had huge smiles on their faces before the Bills game today. Wonder how they feel now? Ahh, their prolly back on their yacht by now not giving two .

Just got home from the Bills game 10 mins ago. Flipped on the Sabres and have seen 4 goals scored. Some superb goaltending on display I see.

I think so. A little better, but not quite good. A true #1 goalie would've made a big difference last year and this year. Why is it so ***** hard to go get a #1?? Other teams seem to be picking them out of trees. Is it still a tank thing?? Which would be really sad, these guys are playing their balls off only to have ***** goaltenders behind them. No wonder their confidence gets shot.
