Just managed to watch the game. Very enjoyable game of hockey. I really like Larsson, Girgs and Okposo as the checking line. Maybe not what we wanted the 6 million dollar man to be doing, but they worked hard for one another. On what planet did Dahlin evolve? He was fantastic, so composed. I hope he can keep up his point streak. As well as Reinhart has been playing I'd like to see Tommer with Jack and Jeff. Tage is showing that he could be a big (lol) player for us in the future. So, yeah. I'm happy.

Bumping this thread. Our power play is dismal. 0 for lots iirc. Does this fall on Housley, Botterill?

Disappointed, but there's some good talent there. We need skinner to sign on. As well as at least a 2C and supporting winger. I wouldn't be mad if we picked up someone in the "pain in the ass to play against" role. But where do you get these players? Teams aren't giving up secondary scoring for peanuts. And UFAs will ask for a lot. I hope Bots stays patient and we see the fruits of this next year. Back on day 1 of the season, are we where we thought we'd be midway through the season ? Probably, to be honest. A team pushing around the wildcard race. Next season I would be looking beyond WC.

Haha, fair enough. I have been trying to figure Housley out for some time. Seems he's an enigma wrapped in a mystery! At least by the time puck drop comes round here it's midnight or so, so I have had my fair share of happy juice!! ?

I think Okposo is a real character guy. A leader. Although the contract is steep, how much value should be placed on a string positive locker room?

Pretty excited by Skinner, Eichel, Thompson Would add CJ/Sheary, Rodrigues, Reinhart as number 2 line. Dunno if that leaves a totally desolate 3rd line though,?
