  1. Of all people. Rayzor throws shade.
  2. Bobby, you have to do it. There is no reason not too. You love it, and life is too short.
  3. A pretty good road 2nd period. Still holding a one goal lead. Will the dreaded Alamo Sabres show up, or will the New Attitude Sabres forge ahead? Will E Sock get the fedora? Will Ellis continue to tantalize? Stay tuned Sabres Fans. Same Bat Time. Same Bat Channel.
  4. Freaky, a bounce off the wall.
  5. What is middle aged in this group?
  6. Utah coach doesn’t like losing to the lowly Sabres.
  7. Could be. I want Dahlin in that list.
  8. E Sock Row Say’in bring in the Amerks
  9. I do not remember power plays in the 70’s thru 90’s that purposefully use drop passes. It sucks. I loved it when Gilbert came back, pick up the puck behind the net, and single handedly carried the puck into the other teams zone with an option to shoot or pass. That guy spoiled my watching of the game. That became an expectation. Ok, period over. Good job Sabres, Ellis held them in, but they need more shots.
  10. Bad karma. You need something else Have a beer and Billieve
  11. Nice. Maley draws a penalty. Maybe.
  12. Ellis with some nice saves. Bad call by the Stripes on Krebs.
  13. I like watching other teams hockey broadcasts, you learn a lot about how th3 organization is perceived. Tonight I’m feeling it. Sabres 4-2
  14. Rosie with another goal. Nice.
  15. Let’s go Buffalo. Im ready for hockey.
  16. Indeed. Lindy was complimenting them as a shut down line.
  17. Thanks for finally providing some solid comments, rather than the dismissive responses I expect more detailed discussion from someone that answers with such confidence. I get the slot receiver thought on McConkey at the time of the draft. McConkey projected as a slot receiver but he also plays outside and he did so very successfully at Georgia. SD plays him at both, they want him on the field because he is making plays for them. I would not expect me or you to know these details at draft time, but I do expect Beane to know this. The year prior to drafting Coleman, Beane used a #1 pick on a TE, and this was right after he paid Knox a big contract worthy of a #1 TE. But he can't have two guys that can play slot? I understand the thought on TEs formation. As for Samuel and Palmer - so far both are looking like budget bin performers that cost us way too much money - about $20M/year combined on the cap. Both can go deep, maybe not much of a threat, but if all you are doing is clearing space for Kincaid and Shakir underneath they are fast enough to go deep. That seems to sum up the Bills passing offense. The targets go to Kincaid, Shakir and a few desperation throws to Coleman who is usually well covered. I think the biggest problem with the Bills offense right now is the output from the WRs. Is it the WR talent, the QB, the OL, coaching/execution, or the play calling? Bottom line is they have not been able to come close to replacing Diggs using either free agency, trades, or the draft and it really shows. Maybe Coleman will bloom and make me wrong about him someday, but for what we need to win now he was a risky choice.
  18. Prior to his injury Kozak was looking like the better 4C between him and Krebs.
  19. Good to hear. I hope you are correct.
  20. My App says its UPL and Vejmelka. I suppose they are saving Lyon for the Avs and that Ellis is just a mirage.
  21. This year and next sound like a problem to me. He might be able to get out of his contract with the Sabres holding his NHL rights if he ever wanted to come back? Then there is injury and liability to consider.
  22. The time zone is important to some. Last 3 games: 2-1 OT loss at home, 2-0 home loss to St. Lousy, and 6-3 road loss to Carolina It is Nov 12th and the Sabres are looking for their first road win of the season, tomorrow they play the Avs so here we go ... I think we can say this is a Must Win.
