When they break out they won’t send two skaters deep into the offensive zone. -

A breakaway though. But yes, he needs to make some big saves like he was earlier in the series. -

I do not think he was great captain here, but do not think he was a poor one either. I am saying that often we equate having a great captain and having a great team as synonymous. Timing is also a factor. To see that Okposo has generated that much respect in Florida, as the above information conveys, tells me that he deserves the respect he gets in Buffalo. -

Interesting, as some here will have you believe that all the good really teams have great captains. -

The Oilers acquired Henrique at the deadline, who at 34 years old and played 82 games, scored 24 goals and 51 points for the season, plus 3 goals in the playoffs. The old man can still play, he always was a pretty solid two way player. Would like to see him get a cup. -
This ^. I would wait on the water until the pasta is almost ready to get all the starchiness into the sauce, just add the water once, if not enough you can add more once the pasta is in the oil/garlic. I would use more fresh garlic for the chopped, and no jarred garlic if you have fresh in the house! For the garlic slices, thinner is better. Paulie's system might be overkill, maybe slightly thicker? Maybe more salt. Definitely use fresh parsley, chop it fine, chop it yourself. The dry parsley tastes like nothing, it just adds nice looking green flecks. There is no one exact right way to cook Italian food. It is more about using he best ingredients you can find, and you can modify to your tastes. Good background music while cooking is a must.

I don't see anything in the tweet that was so offensive - a tatted up girl with a nice figure in a tank top? The video of a loud mouth guy going "back to Florida"? He looked like Bisonette.

There are some compelling points here. Your boastful delivery style has been a bit abrupt, but your intent seems to be well meaning. I have dropped ~25 lbs since Jan but seem to have reached a plateau that is hard to get past. I have cut the calorie intake down, smaller portions, better food -more home made food, no fast food, less alcohol, and much more exercise (walking, golfing, and strength training in the gym). I am stuck at the same weight for the past few months. People are telling me that the increased muscle is "heavier" and that it's inches that I should be focused on. There just may be some foods that I am eating that are not good for me and they are holding me back. My wife is also in the same boat. We ordered the book on Amazon and we will get it on Friday.

Are you really saying that replacing Krebs and Joker with better players will not make the team better? One way to improving a team is by replacing lesser players with better ones. What is Joker? Is he really helping Power on the 2nd pair? He seems like a third pair guy on a good team. A 6/7 guy on a strong team. What is Krebs? He did not impress in his opportunity as a 3C because he did not create much at all. He is "ok for his age" as a 4C. Lindy wants a shutdown line, and guy that can win key defensive zone faceoffs. That is not Krebs right now, maybe its Krebs when he is 27 years old? Should we wait on a 4th line player? These are two guys that should be pretty easy to improve upon if you want to win now.

Jeff Skinner rumors, trade and buyout speculation swirling
Pimlach replied to Flashsabre's topic in The Aud Club
I am not optimist about Adams anymore. I like Lindy but Adams extensive coaching search left me shaking my head. He only had serious talks with Lindy, his neighbor in Clarence, and a guy that hired him many years ago. I really am looking forward to seeing what Adams does in the off season, this should be his make it or break it off season. Can he bring in enough good NHL players? Lindy clearly understands their needs. His talk about getting players for certain roles, like tools, was spot on. Can Lindy's presence help Adams? Everything hinges on it. Pegula really likes and trusts Adams. I think that if the Sabres are competitive and challenge for a wildcard birth right to the end, then Adams will be safe whether they make it of not. Pegula will probably be happy with another close miss and a still very young roster, that is just how he is. Ruff will then get his year 2. Ruff's year 2 will determine if Adams stays. I wish I was more positive about this team. What teams are falling in the Eastern Conference? Washington and Pittsburgh come to mind but they could retool and rebuild faster than the pace Adams has displayed thus far. The Isles and Lightning? Detroit and Philly past us last year. Are we really any better than NJ once they get a goalie? We need 5 or 6 new players that are NHL players and the right players. In addition we need the Core to be better, players like Thompson and Cozens must rebound and get back to the their game from the year prior to last. We also need a repeat of the UPL we saw in the second half of the season. The center spline is Thompson, Cozens, Krebs, Jost/Girgensons. Yuck! -

This is a nice alternate view and I hope you are correct. I would love it if Skinner has "lost his love for the Sabres" and is asking for a trade, but that is probably just wishful thinking. -

I am not even sure Byram will be a Sabre after this season. Lets see what players they bring in this off season, and at what cost. Lets see what Byram does after a full season too. -

I am talking about more hockey trades that bring in NHL players and actually improve the roster. Taking a few risks in an effort for high reward. He has players, many prospects, picks, and cap room. He did one hockey trade last year, Mitts for Byram. And that is a trade that on its own cannot help this team unless he replaces Mitts. It is an incomplete move since he left a void at center. He made one other decent trade the year prior, using draft picks to get Greenway. Besides that, he has played in the bargain bins for guys like Jost, Robinson, etc. Plenty of GMs make trades for NHL hockey players every season. Adams has gone on record complaining that other teams want his prospects for nothing, and that other teams took less for players than what he offered. Time for him to grow a pair and impress us with his shrewdness. Four full years have past since Adams took the reins, he needs to finish this rebuild and get this team back into the NHL. The year 5 clock has started. -

He got rid of a guy that he decided he didn't want to re-sign, and he added a younger and promising player at another position. I don't feel that he proved anything with that trade. Are the Sabres better with Bryam instead of Mitts? We don't know yet until they fill the very big hole at center.
