  1. Oh. OK. Carry on with your sarcasm then.
  2. No. This is the last thing you do. Bad idea. Goalie are strange. Levi might play better than UPL for awhile, and then vice versa. We have UPL on a good contract. KEEP TWO GOALIES. It is ok to have a lot of talent. TWO good goalies is better than one.
  3. You play Levi a bit more and be happy to have two good goalies.
  4. The expectation is to win. As in, win now, win today.
  5. Yes, JVB was good and had his best seasons while playing as a Sabre.
  6. "Malenstyn gave Mercer a face full of leather" ... not bad Dan.
  7. I knew that Scotty did not like Robert and I hated the trade at first.
  8. Good morning Teammates, Punch checking in. Big game, lest get on track. MUSCLE WEIGHT
  9. RIP Billy Shaw. Died at 85. Was a two way starter at both DT and OT at Georgia Tech and drafted in the 2nd round. Possibly the best OL the Bills have ever had. Lots of All Star and All Pro honors, he was selected to the All Time First Team AFL Team. Led the Bills to two AFL Championships (1964 and 1965). Very strong, fast and athletic. Bills Wall of Fame. Pro Football Hall of Fame. He was a great player and an ambassador for Bills Football in later years.
  10. All the people calling to play Peyton Krebs is funny. With KAB out we will see Krebs and maybe Kulich. None of that matters much though. The guys with letters, the big 5 - Dahlin, Tage, Tuch, Muel and Cozens. They need to set the example and lead by playing good hockey and demanding the best from the others. Playing Krebs, Kulich, or any other spare roster guy is not gonna fix what happened today. That’s up to the big 5.
  11. I’m not making excuses. I not surprised that they weren’t ready, that was predictable. They got beat. They didn’t make the plays that were there. They don’t have a winning culture and they let the Devils come to them. I’m not surprised by that. There is no switch to flip, there is no magic formula to make them a good team. They have want it and they have to do it. It’s still just one game. They have a lot to learn. If they win tomorrow I’ll say the same thing.
  12. I think it too soon to react to this one game. Lindy has had little time in preseason to play his top players against other teams top players. The team has a long way to go. I think they will get better as the season goes on. That said, it would be nice to see Lindy change a few players for tomorrow’s game. Another slow start and poor play tomorrow would be a concern.
  13. Power gets one. Keep it going boys.
  14. I think I lost the sports pack with the latest greatest “big deal savings” that the Mrs negotiated.
  15. Hello Teammates, Punch checking in. I guess I don’t get NHL network, and I did last year. Time to revisit this cable contract and look at options. Listening on Sirius XM. Down 3-0 after 2 periods. Disappointed in the start.
  16. I will be out at lunch with some retired work buddies for the start of the game. Maybe I can catch the game later? Go Sabres!!! MUSCLE WEIGHT
  17. What is going on? First Thorny is @Thorner Now PA is @Stoner? Someone call a cop, I think someone robbed @PAsabresFan's Avatar. He robbed him blind.
  18. You dress the 12 forwards that give you best chance to win. Two points now are still equal to 2 points in March. I don't see the need to play any of them unless they are doing something special in practice that warrants it.
  19. YES. We finally have an NHL coach. We added 5 men with speed and toughness. We will have a few more home grown kids turn into men this season. But I mostly voted yes because I watch almost every game and I need to believe it for my own sanity.
  20. The receivers were a big reason why Allen had so much pressure, especially in the second half. Did you watch the game? The Raven often played with 7 men up in a box to stop Cook and Allen from running. That was their plan because they did not fear our WRs. They showed this on TV numerous times. If we passed when looking at 6 or 7 in the box then they blitz at least 1, if not 2, of their front 7 and Allen could not always get through his reads. The WRs were not open and they dropped a few that would have converted 3 down in big situations. The constant QB pressure was more about the WRs than it was a bad OL. Brady called ZERO screens and did nothing to counter.
