  1. Liking the Jost signing, liking the size and contract length of EJ. Loving this signing for bottom 6, he's physical.
  2. Could be. I'm basing my guess on all the talking heads saying KA was searching for a top 4 D. I'm just assuming it's a right. Could be Hannifin to. I just see him making a trade, but, only KA and his team know.
  3. With that Orlov signing I'm nearly 100% certain Pesce to Buffalo.
  4. Stone to LTIR until April, problem solved.
  5. He's most likely gone, so.eone will scoop him up for a bit more than the Sabres are willing to. And good for him, I have no bones against that kid, I personally thought he did well here.
  6. The fur-babies complained the first 3 years, the trick is, send her with a bottle of wine around 4 or 5 in the afternoon, about 7:30 or so the phone stops ringing 🤣
  7. I live on a rather large retention pond where most of us have fur-babies. We all send them to another place for the 2 or 3 hours. And the lake then lights up. But ya, I'm fully conscious of it. My 2 go out to Cambria, my sisters place. Done that for 7 years now.
  8. Dont make me send my daughter back to the store foe another bag, she hates hot dogs, she says she still has nightmares about the weenies & beans days. I asked her, "was it thar bad?", to which she honest to God replied, "ya dad, i fully remember trying to run away as it turned your ass in to a honest to God torture device" 🤣 Ah yes, the 4 to 7 yr old range for the kids, when I'd lock the house down and tell them it's character building time" 🤣 Edit: I would also like to put in this post script, last year, on the way to PA for the weekend, I ate some nice hot banana peppers before the 5 hr ride, then hit the child locks on the windows in my truck. Yea, nostalgic time for them, I'm that dad 🤣
  9. Cut up 50lbs of sirloin last nite for kabobs and put them in the marinade for Saturdays July 4th festivities. Larger then expected gathering this year with family and friends coming in from all over the country. 50 burgers, 90% lean (per the women's requests), 2 X 5lb bags of Sahlens, 20lbs of onions, 32 multi colored bell peppers, I can't even count the side dishes. 180 mortar shot Vulcan Fortress fireworks package, 10 shot mortar tube, countless bottles and beer festivity beverages. I won't be dawning my George Washington custome this year and breaking out the row boat to cross our neighborhood Delaware, not that 2 years ago event went badly, but there was a definite risk to the Betsy Ross flag with the amount of pub refreshments imbibed before that near ill-fated attempted excursion. Should be fun though. Happy Early Independence Day to all of my American Coloniast friends!
  10. We're short on RW'ers, let the drum beat commence! 😈
  11. Soooo.....when do we erect the Statue of Terry down at the harbor front? PA can be Master of Ceremonies. PA: "Send us your undersized, sub-skating, late round rhd masses......"
  12. "Shy-Town Legend" Chicago GM is a stone cold killer.
  13. Well, this is not good news.
  14. At 6'4" he should already know his identity.... "Miedema just culcocked Mathews at the blueline"
  15. Correction Does he want to move down the street to KA's basement? 😉
  16. 8 more over the next 2 drafts and I'll feel comfortable 1 or 2 will stick.
  17. Logical, reasonable post. 👏
  18. Maybe it was for Benson?
  19. The Lollipop Kids
  20. I'm not Interested in stocking the D with 25% chance at nhl roster 2 or more years out, and in most D-men's case 4+ or so, if we can flip those draft picks tomorrow in a deal for a 3/4 RHD partner for Power, including both 2nd's, I say "Go Flight". Adam's can always circle back to D for the pipeline next draft. For as much as some fans point out the here and now, we're ready, is what accounts, I happen to agree with them. Adams has stocked up the forward pipeline, the roster players have grown beyond just developing phase. They are coming in to their own now, it's time to put the final pieces in to place and start our ascent to the playoffs and cup contention......imho.
  21. I don't think anyone was willing to move their 1st rdr's tonight for various reasons such as early to mid rd projected talent sliding and mid to later rd teams appeared to finally be wising up to restocking the cupboard and develop from within. Then there may have been gm's that are learning cost control down the road affords some flexibility. At least, that's some of my hunches on it.
