  1. You dropped your binky. (Ducks) I kid, I kid......... You bring up valid points, but we are still in the off season. Let's where we stand at season open in October. Patience?
  2. Each contract, individually, has input from both sides of the table. The agents try and get the best deal for their clients, but it's the players who have the final say on a yay or nay on the contract. If the players believe in what management is doing, they buy in. The NHLPA can do what exactly? Bad mouth the Sabres organization and KA? If they go that route, they're bad mouthing the players who believe in what KA is trying to build....."with them as partners in such a build". Players play for reasons, sometimes it's money I am sure, but more often than not, it's to win. If the players believe in what KA is doing and buy in, as stated above, the NHLPA would be wise, and have been wise enough, to support the players.
  3. I see nothing of value in bringing him on board to be honest. We have a pipeline to harvest from. Both may be a slightly elevated risk, but the organization showing confidence in their own chosen players that they've help develop would go much farther than bringing in another forward, imho.
  4. Alot of people have just cause to be skeptical on science, given the modern day messengers of such actually caught in factual lies. Science may be science, but the messengers determine its absolutes. Sometimes, reality hits like a concrete wall.
  5. Message transmitted to KA from Sabres fans....... "Where is, repeat, where is our goalie tandem, the world wonders" 😉
  6. This statistic back up what many on the Boston boards on HF and the NHL Bruins forum site have said. Very good 5 / 6 d man. Then again, maybe our analytics guru's can bring some clarity. And of course, I'm interested in the "Meatballs Affect", what the coach and his staff are looking to do if Clifton is in our top 4. Same with Johnson for that matter. I just don't know nearly enough about the variables involved, again, if 1 or both of these players are expected in the top 4 d, to not be skeptical. But maybe they surprise, or another move is coming, who knows.
  7. "Hey Blackhawks, your podium looks like the sleeve of your uniforms." There, feel better now?
  8. Oh ya, well Ralph never had a cool nickname like Donny "Meatballs" does! So there's that...... 😀
  9. I am skeptical. Boston was one of the top defensive teams in the league last season. Buffalo, one of the worst. While I agree both individual player as well as group growth will help, it is highly suspect to believe Clifton and Johnson are going to be the additions that stabilize the back end.
  10. Clifton and Johnson are the droids we're looking for.
  11. I would thunk Buffalo is a better choice than SJ or Nashville at this point. The one team no ones mentioned with regards to Pesce is Edmonton. They have the cap space, they have the need, they are in "all in now" mode.
  12. We have BuffaloNILL and PA, they don't, and that makes all the difference 😀
  13. I'm saying the actual defensive play of the defensemen, both acquired recently as well as the retention of the ones that were here all fit the 5/6/depth positions. I don't believe any one of them are answer for the top 4.
  14. They have Quinn's replacement in house, put this organizations forward talent pipeline to work, they don't have to bring in an outsider.
  15. If we go with that we better get one hell of a 1A goalie. They'll need it to bail out that defense.
  16. I hold a HUGE 4th of July bash every year. And while each of us may have our view of this day, I would like to remind all Americans, who we are, is who we were! Listen to the words, understand the time period in which it was written, and let it flow over you. I am proud, Nay, damn proud, to be an American. Happy Independence Day to my fellow citizens.
  17. No thank you on Gibson.
  18. Canes all in this coming season.
  19. Interesting. Wonder how this is going to roll going forward for all parties.
  20. What's left for KA to do this off season? Top 4 D Fix the 3 headed Goaltending situation.
  21. I agree he may be a chip in such a move, or he may be moved to acquire a chip needed for such a move. I don't think KA will keep him just because Quinn is out. KA has a longterm strategy plan. Keeping Olofsson would block a player like Rousek, or an outside chance, Kulich's opportunity. The larger picture for myself in any event, is I don't see 1 players injury as forcing KA from his strategy. The same with the d man situation. Signing a few 5/6/depth d men does not a top 4 d man make. I have high confidence a trade will be done to address that, and Olofsson may be a direct, or Indirect piece of that. Again, imho.
  22. He'll be traded. My money is on August, as rosters are assembled and teams begin to get clarity on need.
  23. This has "team chemistry" stamp all over it. The forwards weren't the issue last season.
  24. Dylan Mulvaney single handedly saved me 60 bucks for my 4th of July gathering. I'm to old to give a ***** about what anyone else says about it, I've actually posted on GM and Toyata's contact us page to do a promo with Dylan. ScottySabres pronoun..... "Grandpa needs a new truck at discount" 🤣
