  1. The title says it all...……...answer if you wish...…..
  2. Buffalo 5 Montreal 2 We OWN the Canadiansssssssssss ?
  3. The Bills are a lost cause...... So how bout them Sabres………..:)
  4. I smell a 5 - 2 Buffalo victory ?
  5. Not for nothing, but I got all the tickets at the same place, on the same visit...…. Oh, and the wife and I won our money back plus 24 dollars...……... Foot in mouth is no way to go through life,,,,,,,,,,,,,that advice is free...……..
  6. Well GA, I wanted to gauge the ya or nay scenario. I'll add the option mid season.
  7. Actually, only 12 states put it towards education, there's an article on it. As for a tax, you don't have a choice in paying taxes as the poor, you do however, have a choice to buy the lottery ticket or not.
  8. Admittedly it is following a very good performance weekend by him.
  9. Over 90% as I post this favor his re-signing. That is impressive. With that said, as the season progresses, I'd like to revisit this subject.
  10. I have noticed when you purchase a $20 dollar ticket ($2 a line, 10 lines) the same number pops up as the mega ball or power ball 2 to 4 times. That doesn't increase my odds without diversifying more of those numbers.
  11. Ok, so I took the day off and went out and bought 500 in mega millions and 500 in power ball. 6 dollar tickets, 3 lines per ticket, to prevent algorithm clumping of numbers. If, by chance, I win either one, I will get a corporate box where 30 games a season will be open to SS members on a first come first serve basis.
  12. I would never ask you to change. I am merely attempting to ascertain the threshold whereby your comfortable with a players situation/scenario. For Prosperity, inquiring minds want to know...……….
  13. Ummm, no, Stafford is no Skinner. There really isn't a comparison here. Skinner has a much larger and refined tool box when compared with Stafford. But yes, this is merely an early season conversation, as stated in the OP, as to where fans thoughts are early on.
  14. Then again, it could be the elevated talent around him, or the increased adrenaline knowing he's a part of something bigger than himself, driving him to perform feats of wonder, or the non sugar pop tarts he's picked up here in WNY he's been eating in the morning...……...
  15. Loved the puck possession, the back end soft touch passes for breakouts and the absolutely tenacious, nay, relentlessly unending forecheck and O-zone puck control. They were having fun, and for the first season in many, it is showing. I call that..........dare I say it........ CULTURE CHANGE!!!!!!
  16. Interesting. Come, sit with me for a bit. Tell me.......where did this all start? Tell me, if he nets 40+ this season as Jack's LW'er, will you still hear the cries of the lambs?
  17. Yea, I see a bromance forming there, at least on ice. Are we looking at a bicycle made for 3? I wonder how Sam feels about all of this...……….
  18. He'd turn 35 in May of the final 8th year. I don't know, if he wants 8, and he's only 35 at the end of that 8, I give it to him personally. A bit of risk? Sure, but minimally larger than 7 years. If he's willing to ink 7 - 8 for 8 yrs, I would have no problem, as of today, inking that deal.
  19. I see conversations on term and length, IF, this Jack/Jeff relationship continues to blossom and bare fruit. I also see sensible talk on age, if a new contract, say 7 x 7 were offered, he would turn 34 in May of the last year of that contract. Those are 4 to 5 prime years. And while his speed may, and it's only a may at this point, digress a bit, those hands and shot accuracy I very rich skill set to have in to your early to mid 30's. I just don't see a down side on the age issue barring injury, at this early point of the conversation. And yes, only 2 selections, because the question itself is based off of already existing results. I will redefine the thread let's say mid season and pre deadline.
  20. was over reading some Leafs forums this morning. I see on multiple sites reality is starting to set in on the ramifications of signing Tavares to that monster deal. Especially with Mathews and Marner due up for contracts next off season and the current situation with Nylander in Toronto. Starting to see a decent portion of their fans showing concerns on having 2 Centers 11 million or more each. Fearing they won't be able to successfully address D needs and net minder stability past Andersons time. They are finally coming off the off season high of signing Tavares and taking a real look at the challenges that signing has created beyond this season. Interesting really.
  21. Early season indications are Jeff Skinner, who will be 27 next May, is making a very strong case to be Jack's LW'er for the next 7 seasons after this one. He's strong in the hockey motor, speed, soft hand skills, sniper and puck control categories. He appears to be gelling with Jack very nicely. So I put a poll up to gauge where peoples early thoughts are on him, re-sign or deadline trade him. Re-signing him presents real intriguing situations since we have a plethora of RW'ers throughout the organization pipeline. If we go this route, would we have to move Okposo, especially given all the young talent in the pipeline? Personally, early on, I say re-sign, 7 x 7. I cannot believe we got this guy for the value we gave.
  22. someone got a slew foot there
  23. GIRGS! You gotta bury that man.
  24. Skinner's 1st of 2...…. man, I'm on fire lol
