We stay the course in to the here and now, and with that in mind, the playoffs are still within our reach. If Adam's can swing a deal or 2 with shrewd prudence I will be delighted. Besides, as sad as this may sound to many, it's exciting to just be in the hunt for a post season spot this far in to February.

I didn't vote, but, I did post a negative response after the Carolina game I believe it was. I'd like to rescind that and am changing my stance from Nay on playoffs to abstention. I want to believe, but then I see Bryson in the pre game skates and my tourette's syndrome kicks in, it is at those moments I find the wife and 2 daughters, all die hard Sabres faithfull, of my household often huddling in the distance, as my Sabres anger grows, I thought I saw duct tape and old extention cords being stock piled in a locked closet after the LA game.........am I being paranoid? I married this woman, these children are from my loins, I don't think so.........hence I am changing my view to......

I was going through each teams capfriendly pages this morning to see what's out there name wise. Many others on this site can fill me in, but I'm not seeing a whole lot appealing out there. I am over looking some affordable players? I really would be interested.

We really need these up coming home wins. Let's hope they pull it off.

Ya, I don't see Quinn going anywhere. He's young, but there's a lot to work with there. Mitts on the other hand, if his body fills out some, I can see as a very affordable 3rd line winger. Hard to say for me any ways, some games he's there, some he's not. I've come to the conclusion that a 4 thru 6 experienced d is what they should be targeting. Scoring isn't an issue this season, defense is and should be addressed, with minimal cost I'd imagine.
