It's a tough call actually, at least from my view, as a fan. Chychruns injury history isn't that terrible, but I have concerns, however, his contract and play fit in nicely here. I guess to me, the push for a playoff spot would be the piece that tilts the scales. We are in position, and if for no other reason, to give the players an addition to help that push along. They're playing meaningful games past January, something this organization hasn't done, at least outside of the rarity, for over a decade. When your Norris caliber defenseman writes a letter, or at least attaches his name to one, that asks fans to fill the seats in essence, you make the move. The loss of assets isn't going to make or break the process......again, imho.

This road trip will define what, if anything, Adam's does I'm guessing. They ***** the bed, no reason to spend assets, they go 50/50, maybe get them a D plug for the 5/6 pair, they take 80% or more of the available points, this is where it will get tricky for Adam's, a damned if you do, damned if you don't moment I'd surmise. While the company line is that this season doesn't matter, it's a "growth" season, if the team is in a position to play in the hunt down to the wire, a part of "growth" is watching as moves are made to help the team in their hunt, imho.

Bryson is a puzzling decision to be sure. I have to believe Adam's and company are well aware of the defense deficiencies and are actively pursuing all avenues to address it.

I believe he did post 4 - 7, and while not precise, with a score like that, close is good enough. Youth has very little to do with there "consistent" home games performance, as their road record indicates.

TwoBillsDrive, not a member, but review Bills news and chuckle at the posts HFBoards, I'm a hockey fanatic, I keep the the Trade & Rumors section on speed dial for any incoming details NHL wide and to chuckle at some of the ideas. Sabrespace, because I'm a Sabres extremist and if I'm not getting my hourly fix, like an addiction I'm going through withdrawals. Plus, I feel a kindred bond to everyone here, we all share the same passion, and I'm grateful for the humor, the convo's, the different view points of our shared passion, but especially the humor, because the hockey Gods know, as Sabres faithful, we need it.

Lol, It was a word play Taro. We've endured this long with the product in much worse shape than this, but I thought a little humor would be nice. But if I'm being honest, that was a terrible performance in the 1st. We were on the blue line, row 8 lower bowl, penalty box side, my daughter and son in law's season tickets.
