He is having some difficulties to be sure, but like Granato says, he has to figure it out. There's a boat load of talent funneling through the organizations pipe line at nearly every position, especailly forwards. It's sink or swim time for these players. Play hockey during the games and get rewarded, play with yourself during the games and get left on the side of the road as that up and coming talent passes you on their way to take your roster spot.

Well, we wanted on the edge of your seat entertaining hockey, we got it lol.

Not surprised, that first goal Comrie was garbage, that 2nd goal, failure to clear the shooting lane for vision. But the first 10 minutes of the period over all and our boys are not playing hockey, they aren't winning puck battles, making horrible passes and not moving their feet. Play to lose and you'll most likely lose.

I agree with this. I'd also like to point out, there is a similar example right here on earth. Humans aren't the only intelligent life on earth, dolphins are said to be of high caliber intellect as well, but they have one problem, no thumbs.........to bad *****, we rule......go humans!!! go humans!!! :😜

While I can appreciate your take on the current state of team, given its recent history with 2nd half of season collapses, my take is hardly "team stormcloud", it's more like "team living in reality". As for the "process", yea, I'm not sold on it, we've been down this road before. Come to think of it, I remember well the 85 to 89 stretch, post Gilbert pre Patty/Alex window, a lot of thrashing about then to. Reminds me a bit of that to be honest.

While not mathematically out of the running, given the teams play in this 2nd half of the season opening stretch, I believe it's safe to say the "Sabres annual season collapse" has started in earnest. The explanations as to why are always fun discussions, and hey, we made it in to the beginning of Feb. with some hope as fans, farther than what we've grown accustomed to. But it's still disappointment after disappointment with this organization. 😕 As a faithful, I'll watch the remainder of the season, but I don't have any illusions about where this team is currently. As of now, I don't see the playoffs next season either, given the lack of veteran leadership, the very young roster still being young next season and the rigid "stay the course" mentality of management which uses the term "process". My question, given the same outcome season after season is, what, exactly is the process? Are these players "self growing"? with no help being brought in by management to at least give them some hope? Because the proof is in the pudding, and as of right now, "Hope" is not a strategy.

Well, I think it's safe to say the playoff push is over. 4 losses in a row, the last 2 blow outs, I'm not seeing a push here. More like our traditional annual collapse. I mean, honestly, it's become tradition here on Buffalo. I miss the old times, when Buffalo teams competed.

Has anyone checked on Chychrun at the Denver Airport? Has he run out of food? What about water? And where is he sleeping, under some newspaper in the parking garage, level 3? I am concerned....... I respectfully disagree with your understanding of what this team is. Furthermore, I disagree with your view of a potential deal for Chychrun, given defense is identified as in need of an upgrade.

I understand, but we weren't playing meaningful games this far in to a season. Context matters here, imo.
