I last did a siding job with my step father, for a friend of his, in 2010, the same type of siding, double 4 wood grain white vinyl was 44.49 per 100sqft. In 13 years the price has nearly doubled. And the place I buy from, Miras on river road in NT, a family friend has worked behind the counter there for 20 years, he told me a majority of the price hike has been in the past 3 years, nearly 22 dollars per 100sqft increase in that time. It really is getting a bit out of hand out there lately.

I can install the windows myself, along with the siding, but ya, it's 4400sqft of siding, it's sizable. I have to tyvek warp, throw up the new insulation board and so on. The real pain in the arse is needing a 2nd extension ladder and another set of hands to keep the vinyl siding running level and square. But, we'll get'er done. This will be my last siding hooray. Next year will be the roof and gutters. Then the kitchen 2 years after that. I'll be 55/56 by then, that's it. I told the wife, choose the look you want both in and out of the house wisely, because there will be no do-overs. 🤣

Well, a very reachable 2 points squandered away because they couldn't finish. They had multiple empty nets. These are the type of games that are the lesson teachers. The playoffs are slipping away sadly.
