He then bumbles a weak shot on net that thankfully Mittelstadt is in position to clean up. getting that point doesn’t absolve his lack of compete right now that the whole team minus the kid line is watching and mimicking right now.

Mittelstadt has grown into being a skill player. He’s our 1C right now regardless of context, that’s an achievement. Hardest work ethic on team Krebs has given up and turned grinder. 4th line center and not playing great down the stretch, though has a good work ethic usually. A year ago I think people would’ve guessed the opposite outcome.
