  1. Skinner is getting chances, despite his line assignment. His bad puck luck from last year is carrying over. Hopefully he'll just make up for it with sheer volume.
  2. Montour keeps getting stripped of the puck
  3. Eakin is very quick when backchecking
  4. You definitely weren't the only one here to do so!
  5. How many times did they miss the net?
  6. Didn't read any of this thread so far since gametime, but this 23-9-4 line could be unstoppable
  7. I had no idea Hall is willing to drop the gloves. That's awesome
  8. Does this mean, at least, we know he doesn't have a concussion? That would be great news
  9. I'd swap Skinner & Hall. I feel Hall is more north-south, and that works with Eichel on the rush
  10. He did. And I have a lot of reservations about these lines, but maybe for different reasons than you: 1. I worry Thompson won't work on the 1st line. 2. I suspect Olofsson needs to be with Eichel.
  11. Yeah, you have to cross the red line before you dump it in
  12. The correct response is winning the game
  13. Was that Skinner-Lazar-Reinhart? Or just a line change?
  14. Not making an excuse- but, it the ice bad? Or maybe it's just getting the timing back & getting used to an empty arena (Marty just mentioned that)
  15. I think the league is going to take a while to figure out how to shut down Eichel/Hall (hopefully, they never do 🙂 ) I think that gives Ralph the flexibility to figure out where Skinner works best, while simultaneously sending a message that you must play within his system. If we were on the playoff bubble, fighting for a spot with the season wrapping up, I'd also be very annoyed if Skinner's role was not clearly defined. However, I think the firepower we have, at least early in the season, will give us this flexibility.
  16. Maybe we should. Most exciting Sabres lineup in over a decade, yet some people are fixated on the bottom 6
  17. I'm holding out hope the top 6 is fine without Skinner, and Skinner scores goals on whatever line he is put on.
