I totally agree. I don't worry too much for 2 reasons. One, of course not having Jack hurts the PP1 and two, this compressed schedule doesn't give them time to work on things the way they could in a regular season. Lots of new players trying to gel.

True but the PP that VO scored on was pretty good with a lot of movement. I just wonder why they can't do that more without Jack.

Being it's a GDT I will give my observation. They started out slow and bad and went down big. Picked it up quite well in the 2nd and tried to push hard in the 3rd but got caught. All in all for having a bad game they didn't give up and did their best. It got interesting in the 3rd. Power plays were not as good as you could hope for.

Would be a great time for a shorty.

I'm not bad mouthing Sam at all but I don't think he has played many games in his years as a Sabre with the team playing this fast and intense. I have watched the last few games as to his play and I see it's speeding up slowly but surely. I want to see Jack's game do the same when he comes back!

Totally agree. Cap $s potentially being allotted badly has nothing to do with 800k but the $15M going to 2 guys with 7 combined goals. All this handwringing about the nuances of the trade is funny. The only thing that will matter is the player drafted with the 2nd. Whether it is skill, luck or KA just throwing a dart at a list of players that is all that will matter in the end. As to Hall going to Boston I feel it's a 50/50 chance he either helps some or is actually a detriment to their playoff chances.
