I was in the "trade Victor Olofsson" side for awhile but I think all we need is better grinders to replace Okposo and Girgensons, another poster stated if we got rid of these 2 we'd be getting rid of all of our grit which is true but we can find much better replacements imo. JT Compher is a name worth mentioning C/RW could easily replace Okposo at RW and in a C role if need be. Having a 28 G player around regardless of how he gets them is always valuable again imo plus we'll have Kulich/Savoie as soon as this up coming season.

Find better, plenty out there.

I'm ready to move on from both Girgensons and Okposo, time for an upgrade.

I was very critical of Middlestadt all season long but he has been one of the best Sabres players on both sides of the ice for us down the stretch, sometimes it's not how you start but how you finish. I was quite happy with his play the past month and it's one of those times I'm glad to be wrong.

Sign free agents RD Damon Severson (32 pts/+9), LD Ryan Graves (26 pts/+34), G Antti Raanta (19W/3L, 2.23 GAA, 9.10 save %)- He is a smallish goalie who I think will relate to Levi really well. I'd also really like to try and trade our 1st and Victor Oloffson for a 2nd line LW or 1st line and bump SKinner down perhaps unless we're not touching that line. I like JJ Peterka but I'm not so sure he's 2nd line material maybe a guy like Carter Verhage or maybe the Devils will deal us Meier (Would most likely cost next years 1st also) like we should have gone after perhaps at the deadline. Make JJ Peterka earn a top spot, he did a good job as a rookie but a power forward like Meir or Verhage would be alot better option imo. Draft RHD, Goalie prospects with some of the rest of our picks

Topias leinonen the 2nd rounder for from last draft and I'm sure Adams will sign a few but yeah it's pretty thin.

We need a legit veteran goaltender in free agency imo, one who can win games but also steer Levi in the right direction. Some guys who may be available- Jonathan Quick, Semyon Varmalov, Frederick Anderson, Cam Talbot, James Reimer, Antti Rannta, Tristan Jarry (I'm not saying I like all the goalies on this list, just looking at realistic options).

We have a goalie, we were top half of the league in goals. There is a lot to like here, I agree we need to get better defensively. We’ll see how they handle it in the off-season, I’m expecting heavy defensive forwards/defensemen.

I think Kevyn Adams will right this ship, I really do. He does have his work cut out this offseason but this year was all about the development of the young players whether we all agree with that or not.
