I have 2 tickets to Slayer at Darien lake if anyone is interested? $20.00 for the pair, I have them via email.

The Lightning have about 10 worthy prospects, that is sure to be gutted a bit with the addition of Karlsson if they land him.
-
If roster stays the same: Line 1 LW Connor Sheary- C Jack Eichel- RW Sam Reinhart Rasmus Dahlin- Rasmus Ristolainen Line2 LW Casey Middlestadt-C Patrick Berglund- RW Kyle Okposo Marco Scandella- Zach Bogosian Line3 LW Vladimir Sobotka-C Zemgus Girgensons- RW Tage Thompson Jake McCabe-Brendan Guhle
-
It's a great sign though since you can't teach toughness (ask Tyler Myers) so to see it in Dahlins game at his young game is pretty awesome and I agree totally about leverage.
-
I'd get Jeff Skinner from Carolina, he's been on the block awhile now, 26 years old, 3 time 30 goal scorer and would be our top line LW, great speed, excellent hockey IQ, he's a little light but the guy is money, I'm hoping he's the guy Botteril tries to go after and get.
-
Ask Pekar if he's strong, didn't Dahlin bowl him over at the Tourny for cheap shoting him? He'll be just fine and is already our best Dman.

Which Sabres will take a big step BACK this season?
GoPuckYourself replied to Ho-Chi-Sock's topic in The Aud Club
I don't think 2 third liners will give us more FFS, I think collectively we will be better off and we get better character guys in the deal from what I'm reading on Berglund at least and Tage Thompson is another guy who could be in the top 6, he's a 6'5" power forward, I'm not saying any one of Sheary, Berglund, Sobotka or Thompson will get more individual points but I'm saying as a whole, were probably better off and the locker room may be a much better place at least I'm hoping so. I think I'd be more comfortable with a true #1 LW at this point with Sheary on line #2 which is why I was hoping for Kovalchuck so I'm not sure whats left out there but I'm sure we could entice someone with 2 first round picks in next years draft. -

Botteril hasn't done enough? Well we drafted the Connor McDavid on defense, wen't out and traded a 3rd round pick for Sheary who has excellent potential, got a solid goal tender to pair with Ullmark and that should be a much improved area, traded away what appeared to be the cause of the locker room going to (even though you state oitherwise) and we brought in 2 high character vets in Bergland and Sobotka. I get that there is still work to be done but you pretty much said the moves he did make were crap because you don't think they'll pan out? That's fine if we all thought the same it wouldn't be much fun but man have even the slightest bit of optimism. -
Throw them a 1st and Alexander Nylander, if they're talking with teams like Boston and Montreal what can those teams really offer that we couldn't?
-
Do a trade like Karrlson, have a contract made up before so when he comes here he's signed , sealed and delivered.
-
What I don't get is that we are in need of a LW for our top 2 lines, Jeff Skinners name is being talked about yet the bruins, Canadians and other teams are asking about him but not the Sabres? The guy has 3- 30 goal seasons under his belt already, had 24 goals this past year, why wouldn't we deal a 1st and possibly a player we don't want anymore?

C Jack Eichel A Jason Pomminstein A Marco Scandella

So the reports in Tampa per a friend living there says deal is done just waiting on approval for Erik Karlsson trade.
-
I believe it will take a few more drafts before the Amerks can contend on a regular basis. I wonder what the vision for left and right wing will be with so many center prospects.

What does Botterill do with 3 2019 1st round picks?
GoPuckYourself replied to WildCard's topic in The Aud Club
I'd love to see him package the 2 lower 1st round picks and package them for a scoring winger. -
This is always whats wrong with the Sabres and the fans, we've been so bad for so long but we want immediate results, he took over a talented but very flawed team and is now making it his own, he traded off a piece on Sunday that many thought was a building block, the return was clear visualization that he was a bad locker room guy and detrimental to the younger core players, we get a top prospect in Thompson and more draft picks along with a veteran C in Berglund who will be in the top 6, all the guys coming back seem to be of good character and seems to be the theme and other prospects are just throw in's but could help the Amerks out and we just signed a G in Hutton that will do wonders for Ullmark, How is 1 half of a season a 1 full draft that's actually our GM's enough to gauge? It's not, hopefully we can continue being patient as part of a fanbase and not want to push every GM out the door because he doesn't get Regier type of players back who never helped anyways.

Carter Hutton signs with Sabres — $2.75MM x 3 years
GoPuckYourself replied to WildCard's topic in The Aud Club
This is a solid signing, he will only make Ullmark a better player. I think our G play will be so much better this season. -
Trade: Ryan O'Reilly to St Louis Blues
GoPuckYourself replied to CallawaySabres's topic in The Aud Club
I'm happy, we just got rid of the biggest douche on our roster. I'm going to assume these are good character guys which is always needed and you see them in all the playoff teams. -

He would be a quality signing, he'd help out our young future goalie, great leader in the locker room from what I read and had his best season to date in his 30's, those are all great things. -
If were going to lose do it properly, finish dead last. We did and we got Dahlin for our troubles and it should change our landscape. I might be in the minority but I still think Ryan O'Reilly is part of the problem, his attitude seems to be piss poor and he's supposed to be one of our leaders.... Get a goal scoring winger for him and a pick, put Reinhart back at C where he belongs imo.
-
Why would you be concerned with it if he said "in the later rounds" ?
-
Great trade for Carolina, they get the established D man.
-
Another D-man, wow

Can't say I've read much on Lindstram but he has a solid draft profile which is good, were really emphasizing the defense this draft. Big, raw, defensively solid, edgy defender who has seems to have gotten lost in the pile of high-end Swedish defensemen. Makes a hard first pass out of his end. No flash, just a really strong on his skates player who is really solid in his own end. Blocks shots, clears the front, and plays the body with regularity and some snarl. Is starting to show progress as an offensive zone player displaying a cannon from the back end. Has shown more confidence in jumping up in the play. Is more than willing to be a total team guy and stand up for his teammates. A sleeper who might surprise.
