I agree, but there's a case to be made the senior guys are ahead of him (not that I agree with it). Given Benson is more senior than the rest of the bunch, someone needs to go.

We have to get a lot better that this to make the playoffs. Also, if Benson can barely crack the 4th line, what do we do with the other 3 1st rounders in Rochester. We gotta deal some of these guys and upgrade our top 9.

Screw what the talking heads are saying... This is great news! He's one of the few true vets in the room. He's one of our best PP guys and plays with heart. We need more Zuckers and less youth. Edit: Give him Samuelson's letter next year, and if we can get another guy like him give that guy Cozens'.

Maybe they'll trade him for someone that plays the game the right way.

I'm the OP and that was the intent. Given our lack of palm trees, we're limited in what we could get in free agency. Signing news is good news. Signing Greenway, Joki, and Zucker is certainly better than losing them for nothing. History has shown they'll be replaced by more youth. The last thing this team needs is a player like Rosen being slotted info the Greenway role.

He's from upstate NY. It's possible he likes Buffalo just as well as anywhere else. The cap is going up too so that's not an exorbitant amount of money to pay him.

Separate him from Dahlin and he's a liability. Please move this guy.

Dahlin and Thompson agaisnt AHL players wouldn't be fair. Like Canada or the US playing Switzerland in the Olympics.

Greenway, Joki, and Zucker could all get something decent but I'd rather see them signed.

If that's the case, where's the signings? I'll take signings over no signings... except for Byram who sucks (unless he's being carried by Dahlin).

If we lose our FAs and get nothing back, you can stick a fork in us for many more years to come.

If you're willing to jettison Thompson and the contract he's on, you're going need to walk out the same door as Adams.

I'd move Byram because he's not worth whatever we have to pay him. Sign everyone else, because we're sure to lose any other trade anyways.

Are there still any old school lots near the arena where you can pay cash? My 17yo son and his girlfriend are going to the game on Saturday and neither one of them have a credit card. If I could give them directions to a good lot... Preferably closer to Pearl St Grill (my son's favourite restaurant) that would be helpful. I also realize not having a card will limit them from buying concessions. They're all overpriced anyways though so it won't matter. Thanks!
