Strange. We are one of the highest scoring teams this year yet in the basement because we give up a lot of goals. That says a lot about what is wrong.

Granato with the same explanations.... how hard is it to be aggressive and stay motivated? These guys all have been playing high end hockey their whole lives.

the bigger the conspiracy, the harder to pull off.... you would need a lot of people involved in fixing all the sports and they would all have to keep quiet to a man.... not likely

Not going to buy into the conspiracies... the Sabres lose because they have been poorly managed for over a decade.

I spoke too soon. 55 minutes of great hockey and crapped it away. They are still not there.

Considering the competition I would say this may be their best played game/effort of the year.

The injuries are at the point of being devastating. I personally dislike the whole casual "next man up/no excuses" mantra. There are 4-5 guys you cannot lose or it drastically effects the team (QB, LT, WR1, DE1, CB1). The Chiefs without Mahomes are not winning the super bowl for instance. Or losing Tre may have cost us the KC game. Injuries matter. Losing your game changing pass rusher and pro bowl level safety has massive implications especially playoff time. Hopefully a healthy groot can step up. Going to be tough.

Just play him. We are not competing for a championship anyways. Have to see what he can do.
