My fear with Ralph from the beginning was he was a supposed "motivator" but not a strategist (see Trotz). We need a coherent and adaptable x and o's guy who can mold these guys into a system to fits who they are.

The math is simply too much. They would have to go on an unprecedented run to get a playoff spot. We can't even score more than 2 goals in a game anymore. The more pertinent question should be, could we finish last in the league? That is way more likely.

The tank team was expected. I have been a fan since my childhood in the 70's. I have seen some bad seasons but I have never witnessed the complete lack of compete and losing culture like I am seeing now. Other than the Devils game, I don't know how they are going to win more than a few games this month. I honestly don't know how. It's a virtual mismatch every single night.

It’s inconceivable he’s not gone. Calgary and Montreal sent clear messages to better coaches than him that losing and mediocrity is not acceptable. There is no team underperforming more than the Sabres the past two years under his guidance.
